The trailer offers a bizarre and darkly humorous narrative centered around mutated cats. It starts with a musical number about a couple, Mr. and Mrs.
Jones, who adopt kittens from a local pound after being unable to have children. Their lack of foresight in not spaying or neutering the cats leads to a household overrun with more than 100 cats, resulting in chaos, sex, violence, and regret.
Mewgenics trailer finally debuts
Despite the uncontrollable circumstances, the Joneses form an attachment to their many pets, each with a unique, horrific name. The trailer gruesomely depicts their struggle with the overwhelming number of cats, showcasing scenes full of noise, clutter, and destruction.
