Amsterdam-based CapitalT, a (pre) seed stage VC that invests in software technology companies, announced the first close of its second fund, targeting €50M.

The Dutch VC will use the funds to back exceptional teams at pre-seed, focus on solving real-world problems in Climate Tech and Future of Work, and utilise a data-driven approach to identify and support scalable solutions.

Founded by Janneke Niessen and Eva de Mol, CapitalT is a pre-seed stage venture capital firm that invests in software technology companies.
The Dutch VC focuses on companies that tackle real problems using AI or have a strong data component, demonstrating international potential and possessing exceptional teams.
Currently, the VC focuses on verticals, including EdTech, Digital Health, Climate Tech, Future of Work and Future of Social.
The VC’s investment interest is primarily in companies located in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Germany.
Some of the companies in VC’s portfolio include Test Gorilla, Memri, Seyo, SwipeGuide, Seenons, Luna.ai, AI-BOB, and others.
