The Inconsistencies Of Neocon Senator Blumenthal
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on LInkedIn

While Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) is a ruthless NEOCON whom I have not met, his buddy John McCain, I did meet and felt like I needed a shower after shaking hands. Yet his counterpart on the Democratic side, Blumenthal, I have ZERO respect for. He is either stupid or devious – it’s hard to tell. While Blumenthal ran to support this endless war in Ukraine instigated by the NEOCONS, he dares to claim he wants to remove the immunity for gun manufacturers while supporting the absolute immunity for the makers of COVID vaccines.

A gun is NOT a lethal injection. The manufacturer is no more responsible than General Motors for a driver killing someone else because he is drunk. But turning a blind eye to COVID when they KNEW there was inefficient testing is not even comparable to a gun manufacturer. So if a cop kills the wrong person, then the gun manufacturer should be sued, but you cannot sue the cop?

The Inconsistencies Of Neocon Senator Blumenthal

For the 2024 election cycle, Senator Blumenthal has received $34,400 from the Pharmaceuticals/Health Products industry ($23,500 from PACs, $10,900 from individuals). He insists that his legislative record demonstrates significant opposition to the industry’s priorities on key issues like drug pricing. What about vaccine safety and the FDA approval process taking money from the very people whose drugs they are approving?

Source: OpenSecrets.org – Profile for Richard Blumenthal (Search for “Pharmaceuticals/Health Products” under the “Industries” tab for the 2023-2024 cycle). You can verify this directly here: https://www.opensecrets.org/members-of-congress/richard-blumenthal/industries?cid=N00031685&cycle=2024
