Anthropic Turns Its Scariest AI Into A Money Printer – Moby

THE GIST

Our analysts just identified a stock with the potential to be the next Nvidia. Tell us how you invest and we’ll show you why it’s our #1 pick. Tap here.

Anthropic announced a new global partnership spanning 150 companies across 15 countries for its security model, “Mythos,” as part of its Project Glasswing.

Only a few months ago, many experts considered Mythos one of the most dangerous new technologies on the planet. It’s now apparently ready for primetime, after CEO Dario Amodei initially screened the AI model with 50 partners and the federal government.

WHAT HAPPENED

The company outlined plans for the Mythos partnership and Project Glasswing in a new blog post. If you’re unfamiliar with Project Glasswing, think of it as the defensive-umbrella initiative, and Mythos as a highly advanced, heavily gated engine powering Glasswing’s controlled deployment designed for general software security. The company defines Mythos’s intention as “securing the world’s most important software” due to the threat that “cheap, fast AI models with powerful cyber capabilities are around the corner.”

The first new group of users will be from “power, water, healthcare, communications, and hardware” industries. If they were subject to a malicious cyberattack, millions would be affected.

Anthropic, at least for the last year or so, hasn’t been shy about sprinkling some apocalyptic predictions into its marketing. But Mythos is billed as a solution that Anthropic and other LLM-makers might create. Regardless of the company’s Machiavellian-lite strategies, the market loves them.

WHY IT MATTERS

One stock. Nvidia-level potential. 30M+ investors trust Moby to find it first. Get the pick. Tap here.

Amodei is yet again stealing rival Sam Altman’s thunder by adding a money-printing revenue stream ahead of the IPO set for later this year. Anthropic recently closed a $60 billion Series H, pushing its valuation to over $965 billion, making it the most valuable AI firm in the world, beating OpenAI’s $852 billion post-money valuation.

xAI’s valuation was $230 billion before its acquisition by SpaceX, and it has burned $12.7 billion in cash on capex in 2025 alone.

Anthropic’s annual recurring revenue (ARR), the holy grail of enterprise tech metrics, crossed a staggering $47 billion in late May. They’ve essentially tripled their top line over a four-month sprint, exploding from a $9 billion ARR earlier this year. Anthropic is beating OpenAI and other competitors like xAI in ARR and in valuation, per the aforementioned Series H.

All of this creates a good news cycle for Amodei ahead of the company’s IPO. It’s Moore’s Law, but for revenue growth, not the tech itself.
