London-based Evantic Capital, a new venture capital firm, announced its launch with over $400M (approximately €341M) in capital.

The new UK VC will focus on investing in emerging AI leaders across the United States, Europe, and Israel, primarily in high-potential B2B AI companies.

Evantic’s model is based on its partnership with The Legends, a global community of 140 exceptional founders, operators, and investors dedicated to actively supporting portfolio companies.

“Our Legends are senior leaders — experienced founders, operators, and executives — who bring a deeper level of involvement to our portfolio companies,” says Matt Miller, founder & managing partner of Evantic Capital.

Evantic Capital: Europe via the Atlantic

The name Evantic is derived from “Europe via the Atlantic,” reflecting Miller’s journey from Silicon Valley to London and the firm’s mission to build a transatlantic bridge of AI investments.

According to Matt, Evantic Capital differs from traditional scout or advisory networks by giving up to 50 per cent of investment carry to the Legends who help founders grow their businesses.

“This creates a true partnership model: our Legends are not only motivated by goodwill or networking, but by a real alignment of interests. It ensures that when a founder engages with a Legend, they’re interacting with someone who is deeply invested in helping them succeed, both emotionally and economically,” he explains.

The Legends community

The Legends represent a cross-section of global leadership and expertise:

55 Founders & CEOs20 Senior Executives with Go-to-Market expertise10 Product & Engineering leaders20 Finance & Governance experts30 Leading global investors30 Public company directors

Half of the community is based in Europe and Israel, and half in the United States.

“We have chosen not to publicly share the names of individual Legends as each has their own set of obligations and duties to manage,” adds Matt.

Initial portfolios focus on AI-powered firms

The UK VC has already completed five investments, with commitments for two more. Current portfolio companies include:

Fireworks – an AI inference provider enabling ultra-fast and efficient AI experiences.Listen Labs – an AI-driven end-to-end research platform replacing surveys, focus groups, and interviews with AI-moderated conversations.Lovable – an AI-powered platform allowing users to build web applications through natural language prompts.n8n – a flexible AI workflow automation platform for enterprises.Nexos – an AI governance platform that helps enterprises to empower its employees with AI tools while protecting sensitive enterprise assets.

The Evantic team

Evantic Capital is led by a team with deep experience across venture, operations, and technology:

Spencer Hemphill, CFO – former Sequoia venture finance veteran and CFO of Interlagos Capital.Franky Roberts, Head of Talent & Community – led executive recruiting at Stripe, Checkout, and Sequoia.Imke Koberg, Partner – formerly of Silver Lake’s London tech investment team.Didac Lee, Senior Advisor – seasoned founder and active investor in the VC ecosystem.Vivien Monory, Chief of Staff, and Maria Dowling, Executive Business Partner.

“We are living in one of the most exciting times in London, Europe and our broader world. Now is the time for all of us to reach and make the most of this moment in time with so much incredible change and to be a Legend in our own right,” he concludes.
