The notable startup funding rounds for the week ending 1/24/25 featuring funding details for Ivo, Bolna, ZBD, and twenty-three other deals representing $2.1B in new funding that you need to know about.

AnswersNow – $40.0M

Richmond-based AnswersNow is an app that revolutionized autism support by utilizing the use of technology. Founded by Adam Dreyfus and Jeff Beck in 2016, AnswersNow has now raised a total of $52.4M in total equity funding and is backed by Blue Heron Capital, HealthQuest Capital, Left Lane Capital, and Owl Ventures.

Baseten – $300.0M

San Francisco-based Baseten is an AI infrastructure company that integrates machine learning into business operations, production, and processes. Founded by Amir Haghighat, Pankaj Gupta, Philip Howes, and Tuhin Srivastava in 2019, Baseten has now raised a total of $585.0M in total equity funding and is backed by CapitalG, IVP, and NVIDIA.

Claroty – $150.0M

New York-based Claroty is a cybersecurity company that protects XIoT and cyber-physical systems from cyber threats. Founded by Amir Zilberstein, Benny Porat, and Galina Antova in 2015, Claroty has now raised a total of $890.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Golub Growth.

ZBD – $40.0M

Hoboken-based ZBD focuses on providing secure infrastructure to power real economies in digital experiences and environments. Founded by Andre Neves, Christian Moss, and Simon Cowell in 2019, ZBD has now raised a total of $86.5M in total equity funding and is backed by Blockstream Capital Partners.

Neurophos – $110.0M

Austin-based Neurophos develops photonic AI processing technology that focuses on hardware solutions for accelerating artificial intelligence inference. Founded by Andrew Traverso, Patrick T. Bowen, and Tom Driscoll in 2020, Neurophos has now raised a total of $126.1M in total equity funding and is backed by Alumni Ventures, Aramco Ventures, Bosch Ventures, Carbon Direct Capital, DNX Ventures, Gaingels, Gates Frontier Fund, Geometry, M12 – Microsoft’s Venture Fund, Mana Ventures, MetaVC Partners, Morgan Creek Capital Management, Silicon Catalyst Ventures, Space Capital, Tectonic Ventures, Trajectory Ventures, and Wonderstone Ventures.

Founded by Carl Hoiland and Joel Edwards in 2019, Zanskar has now raised a total of $157.2M in total equity funding and is backed by All Aboard, Carica Sustainable Investments, Chris Gibson, Clearvision Ventures, Cross Creek, GVP Climate, Imperative Ventures, Lowercarbon Capital, Munich Re Ventures, Obvious Ventures, Orion Resource Partners, Safar Partners, Spring Lane Capital, StepStone Group, Susquehanna Sustainable Investments, Tranquillion, Union Square Ventures, University Growth Fund, and UP Partners.

Noveon Magnetics – $215.0M

San Marcos-based Noveon Magnetics manufactures EcoFlux rare earth permanent magnets that support electrification and low-carbon technology applications. Founded by Catalina Oana Tudor and Scott Dunn in 2014, Noveon Magnetics has now raised a total of $315.0M in total equity funding and is backed by One Investment Management.

OpenEvidence – $250.0M

Cambridge-based OpenEvidence is a medical AI company that builds a search engine to support clinicians in making evidence-based decisions. Founded by Daniel Nadler and Zachary Ziegler in 2021, OpenEvidence has now raised a total of $767.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Alkeon Capital, Blackstone Group, Bond, Breyer Capital, Coatue, Conviction, Craft Ventures, DST Global, Goanna Capital, Google Ventures, Greycroft, Henry Kravis, ICONIQ Capital, Kleiner Perkins, Mayo Clinic, Meritech Capital Partners, NVIDIA, Sequoia Capital, and Thrive Capital.

Ethernovia – $90.0M

San Jose-based Ethernovia is a developer of an Ethernet system that provides the next evolution in vehicle communication. Founded by Darren Engelkemier, Hossein Sedarat, Ramin Shirani, and Roy Myers in 2018, Ethernovia has now raised a total of $154.0M in total equity funding and is backed by CDIB -TEN Capital, Conduit Capital Limited, Fall Line Capital, Maverick Silicon, Porsche Automobil Holding, Qualcomm Ventures, and Socratic Partners.

Klir – $10.0M

Reno-based Klir is the operating system for water. Founded by David Lynch and Elaine Kelly in 2018, Klir has now raised a total of $29.6M in total equity funding and is backed by Insight Partners.

LiveKit – $100.0M

San Jose-based LiveKit provides a cloud platform that enables developers to build, deploy, and manage real-time communication and AI-driven applications. Founded by David Zhao and Russell D’Sa in 2021, LiveKit has now raised a total of $181.3M in total equity funding and is backed by Altimeter Capital, Hanabi Capital, Index Ventures, Redpoint, and Salesforce Ventures.

Superstate – $82.5M

San Francisco-based Superstate develops blockchain-based investment products connecting traditional financial assets with crypto markets. Founded by Dean Swennumson, Jim Hiltner, Reid Cuming, and Robert Leshner in 2023, Superstate has now raised a total of $100.5M in total equity funding and is backed by 1kx, Bain Capital Crypto, BH Digital, Bullish, Distributed Global, Flowdesk, Galaxy Digital, Haun Ventures, Hypersphere Ventures, Intersection Growth Partners, ParaFi Capital, Road Capital, and Sentinel Global.

AheadComputing – $30.0M

Beaverton-based AheadComputing is a microarchitecture compute performance company that develops microprocessor core design and related technologies. Founded by Debbie Marr and Jonathan Pearce in 2024, AheadComputing has now raised a total of $83.1M in total equity funding and is backed by Cambium Capital Partners, Corner Ventures, Eclipse Ventures, EPIQ Capital Group, MESH, Stata Capital, Toyota Ventures, and Trousdale Ventures.

Datarails – $70.0M

New York-based Datarails is an FP&A platform that automates consolidation, reporting, planning, and forecasting while supporting existing Excel models. Founded by Didi Gurfinkel, Eyal Cohen, and Oded Har-Tal in 2015, Datarails has now raised a total of $173.5M in total equity funding and is backed by ClalTech, Innovation Endeavors, Joey Low, One Peak, Qumra Capital, Vertex Growth Fund, Vintage Investment Partners, and Zeev Ventures.

Artie – $12.0M

San Francisco-based Artie is a technology platform that provides real-time data replication and streaming services to synchronize data across systems. Founded by Jacqueline Cheong and Robin Tang in 2023, Artie has now raised a total of $15.8M in total equity funding and is backed by Arash Ferdowsi, Benn Stancil, Charles Hearn, Chris Best, Lenny Rachitsky, Pathlight Ventures, Sancus Ventures, Standard Capital, and Y Combinator.

Cambio – $18.0M

New York-based Cambio is an AI-native commercial real estate operations platform that transforms raw building data into actionable insights. Founded by Leia de Guzman and Stephanie Grayson in 2022, Cambio has now raised a total of $18.5M in total equity funding and is backed by Adverb Ventures, Maverick Ventures, Peterson Ventures, and Y Combinator.

Emergent – $70.0M

Pleasanton-based Emergent is an AI-powered software creation platform that enables users to build full-stack web and mobile applications. Founded by Madhav Jha and Mukund Jha in 2024, Emergent has now raised a total of $100.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Khosla Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Prosus Ventures, SoftBank Vision Fund, Together Fund, and Y Combinator.

Dover-based Bolna offers voice AI agents that transforms business to qualify leads, boost sales, automate customer support, and streamline recruitment. Founded by Maitreya Wagh and Prateek Sachan in 2024, Bolna has now raised a total of $6.4M in total equity funding and is backed by Aarthi Ramamurthy, Arpan Sheth, Blume Ventures, Eight Capital, General Catalyst, Kayar Raghavan, Orange Collective, Pioneer Fund, Ravi Iyer, Sriwatsan Krishnan, Taro Fukuyama, Transpose Platform Management, and Y Combinator.

AiStrike – $7.0M

Pleasanton-based AiStrike is an emerging leader in AI-Powered Automation for Security Investigation and Response company. Founded by Nitin Agale in 2023, AiStrike has now raised a total of $12.1M in total equity funding and is backed by Blumberg Capital, NextEra Energy Investments, Oregon Venture Fund, and Runtime Ventures.

Sage Geosystems – $97.0M

Houston-based Sage Geosystems develops geothermal and energy storage technologies that use subsurface heat and pressure to generate and store electricity. Founded by Cindy D. Taff in 2020, Sage Geosystems has now raised a total of $114.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Abilene Partners, Alfa8, Arch Meredith, Carbon Direct Capital, Cubit Capital, Exascale Fund, ignis H2 Energy, Nabors, Ormat Technologies, SiteGround Capital, and The UC Berkeley Foundation’s Climate Solutions Fund.

Statusphere – $18.0M

Orlando-based Statusphere is an influencer marketing platform. Founded by Kristen Wiley in 2016, Statusphere has now raised a total of $18.0M in total equity funding and is backed by 1984 Ventures, HearstLab, How Women Invest, and Volition Capital.

XBuild – $19.0M

San Francisco-based XBuild offers an AI-powered platform for construction tasks like estimation, supplementation, and instant financing. Founded by Sharuk Khanna in 2022, XBuild has now raised a total of $19.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Andreessen Horowitz, N47, and Rackhouse Venture Capital.

Zarminali Health – $110.0M

Chicago-based Zarminali Health provides pediatric healthcare services and support to streamline how children receive care from primary specialists. Founded by Danish Qureshi in 2024, Zarminali Health has now raised a total of $150.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Boston Children’s Hospital, General Catalyst, Healthier Capital, and K2 HealthVentures.
