The notable startup funding rounds for the week ending 1/17/25 featuring funding details for Parambil, Etched.ai, Titl, and twenty-six other deals representing $3.8B in new funding that you need to know about.

ClickHouse – $400.0M

Palo Alto-based ClickHouse provides an open-source database system for real-time analytical reporting. Founded by Aaron Katz, Alexey Milovidov, and Yury Izrailevsky in 2021, ClickHouse has now raised a total of $1.1B in total equity funding and is backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, Dragoneer Investment Group, GIC, Index Ventures, Khosla Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, T. Rowe Price, and WCM Investment Management.

Converge Bio – $25.0M

Wilmington-based Converge Bio integrates Generative AI with biological data. Founded by Dov Gertz and Oded Kalev in 2024, Converge Bio has now raised a total of $30.5M in total equity funding and is backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, Saras Capital, TLV Partners, and Vintage Investment Partners.

Deepgram – $143.2M

San Francisco-based Deepgram provides a voice artificial intelligence platform for speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and voice applications. Founded by Adam Sypniewski, Noah Shutty, and Scott Stephenson in 2015, Deepgram has now raised a total of $229.1M in total equity funding and is backed by Alkeon Capital, Alumni Ventures, AVP, BlackRock, Citi Ventures, Columbia University, IQT, Madrona, Princeville Capital, SAP, ServiceNow Ventures, Stanford University, Tiger Global Management, Twilio, University of Michigan, Wing Venture Capital, and Y Combinator.

Defense Unicorns – $136.0M

Colorado Springs-based Defense Unicorns is a software startup that provides open-source software and AI capabilities for national security systems. Founded by Andrew Greene, Jeff McCoy, and Robert Slaughter in 2021, Defense Unicorns has now raised a total of $171.5M in total equity funding and is backed by Ansa Capital, AVP, Bain Capital Tech Opportunities, David Petraeus, Sapphire Ventures, Uncorrelated Ventures, and Valor Equity Partners.

equal1 – $60.0M

San Carlos-based equal1 is a hardware development laboratories company. Founded by Dirk Leipold and R. Bogdan Staszewski in 2017, equal1 has now raised a total of $73.2M in total equity funding and is backed by Atlantic Bridge, Elkstone Capital Partners, Enterprise Ireland, European Innovation Council, Ireland Strategic Investment Fund, Matterwave Ventures, and TNO Ventures.

Auburn-based Fleetzero is building battery electric cargo ships to affordably decarbonize ocean freight. Founded by Michael Carter and Steven Henderson in 2021, Fleetzero has now raised a total of $58.5M in total equity funding and is backed by 8090 Industries, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Maersk Growth, Obvious Ventures, and Y Combinator.

Flip CX – $20.0M

New York-based Flip CX offers Voice AI that automates customer support calls, providing an efficient alternative to traditional IVR systems. Founded by Brian Schiff, Jacob Cooper, and Samuel Krut in 2018, Flip CX has now raised a total of $28.9M in total equity funding and is backed by Bullpen Capital, Data Point Capital, Forum Ventures, Next Coast Ventures, Ridge Ventures, and ScOp Venture Capital.

GovDash – $30.0M

San Francisco-based GovDash is a technology company that provides a data platform to track, visualize, and benchmark government and public policy metrics. Founded by Curtis Mason, Sean Doherty, and Timothy Goltser in 2021, GovDash has now raised a total of $40.0M in total equity funding and is backed by BCI, Mucker Capital, Northzone, and Y Combinator.

Hydrosat – $60.0M

Washington-based Hydrosat leverages thermal satellite intelligence and AI to address critical global challenges in food, security, and natural resources Founded by Jakob Van Zyl, Pieter Fossel, Royce Dalby, and Yunjin Kim in 2017, Hydrosat has now raised a total of $85.5M in total equity funding and is backed by Blue Bear Capital, Cultivation Capital, European Investment Fund, Hartree Partners, OTB Ventures, Santa Barbara Venture Partners, Statkraft Ventures, Subutai Capital Partners, Synovia Capital, The Luxembourg Future Fund, and Truffle Capital.

JetZero – $175.0M

Long Beach-based JetZero is an aerospace startup developing all-wing aircraft to cut fuel use and emissions for commercial flights. Founded by Mark Page and Tom O’Leary in 2020, JetZero has now raised a total of $201.4M in total equity funding and is backed by 3M New Ventures, B Capital, Northrop Grumman, RTX Ventures, Trucks Venture Capital, and United Airlines Ventures.

San Francisco-based Listen Labs is an AI-first customer research platform that automates customer interviews and delivers actionable insights. Founded by Alfred Wahlforss and Florian Juengermann in 2023, Listen Labs has now raised a total of $96.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Conviction, Evantic Capital, Pear VC, Ribbit Capital, and Sequoia Capital.

MagicCube – $10.0M

Santa Clara-based MagicCube is a security platform for mobile and IoT devices, delivering hardware-grade protection without the complexity and constraints. Founded by Nancy Zayed and Sam Shawki in 2014, MagicCube has now raised a total of $37.2M in total equity funding and is backed by Bold Capital Partners, ID TECH, Mosaik Partners, and Verifone.

MedWatch Technologies – $15.0M

Las Vegas-based MedWatch Technologies is a medical device and SaaS company that specializes in health monitoring and management technology solutions. Founded by Bruce Matichuk and Mike Moore in 2022, MedWatch Technologies has now raised a total of $15.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Stead Impact Ventures.

Monnai – $12.0M

San Francisco-based Monnai is the global consumer insight infrastructure for fintech. Founded by Pierre Demarche and Ravish Patel in 2021, Monnai has now raised a total of $22.7M in total equity funding and is backed by 500 Global, Commerce Ventures, and Motive Partners.

Mytra – $120.0M

South San Francisco-based Mytra is a robotics company developing software-defined warehouse robotics solutions to automate industrial tasks in logistics. Founded by Ahmad Baitalmal and Chris Walti in 2022, Mytra has now raised a total of $198.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Abstract, Avenir, D. E. NANOCHON – $4.1M

New York-based Proxima Bio develops programmable medicines that modulate protein interactions to address disease processes. Salt Lake City-based RouteSense provides real-time MID health monitoring and intelligent transaction routing for merchants, PSPs, ISOs and acquirers. Skild AI – $1.4B

Pittsburgh-based Skild AI develops artificial intelligence systems that enable robots to act in physical environments. Tulip Interfaces – $120.0M

Somerville-based Tulip is a frontline operations platform designed to empower companies with AI-enabled, connected applications. Founded by Natan Linder and Rony Kubat in 2014, Tulip Interfaces has now raised a total of $272.5M in total equity funding and is backed by Mitsubishi Electric.

VieCure – $43.0M

Denver-based VieCure built an engine to turn data into knowledge and take the world’s best thinking to clinicians and patients in real time.
