Arnhem, The Netherlands-based Deftpower, an AI-supported SaaS platform for EV charging, announced that it has raised €12.5M in the latest funding round led by Endeit Capital.

Endeit Capital supports Europe’s most promising tech companies through growth-stage investments.

With offices in the Netherlands, Germany, and Sweden, the firm invests its €300M+ fund in forward-thinking companies across Climate tech, Fintech, Future of Work, Sales Enablement, and Security sectors.

Sara Resvik’s, Partner at Endeit Capital, says, “We see Deftpower as uniquely positioned to be the backbone of Europe’s EV charging future, one where cost savings, carbon reduction, and grid stability go hand in hand. Their AI-driven approach is exactly what the energy transition needs at scale.”

Existing investors, including 4impact capital, Proeza Ventures, Rethink Mobility, as well as business angel Jan Fredriks, participated.

The funding will accelerate Deftpower’s European expansion and further develop its AI-driven smart charging technology.

The announcement comes over a year after raising funding from 4impact Capital back in February 2024.

Deftpower: Building the ultimate charging solution

Founded by Marc Diks and Jacob van Zonneveld in 2020, Deftpower‘s mission is to build the ultimate charging solution.

The company offers high-end white-label software solutions to mobility service providers.

These solutions optimise the charging process for electric vehicles (EVs) and integrate the flexible capacity of EVs into the broader energy grid.

With its solution, the Dutch company aims to contribute to the transition toward a cleaner, greener future through innovative solutions and cutting-edge technology.

The company’s main objective is to accelerate the acceptance of electric vehicles (EVs) by encouraging the use of renewable energy and reducing dependency on fossil fuels.

The transportation industry generates around 25 per cent of global CO2 emissions, making

Deftpower’s mission is crucial and pressing.

The company’s white-label eMobility Service Provider (eMSP) already serves more than 40 clients across 10 European countries.

Designed to handle millions of transactions with full transparency, it supports the industry’s next stage — seamless smart charging and readiness for vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology.

Currently, the company employs around 70 people.

“We know charging your EV is both too expensive and too complicated today, and the aggregator role we foresee for the MSP will tie the room together as it should. All players, including EV drivers, charge point operators and grid operators, benefit financially from Deftpower’s charging platform,” says Deftpower CEO Jacob van Zonneveld.
