Allegiant Air, which has origins in Las Vegas, has dropped three routes to the Southern Nevada city as part of the 61 routes and seven airports the company cut this year, according to Simple Flying.
Though Allegiant added 49 routes, the cuts are still an overall decrease for the company.
Simple Flying compared data from the aviation analysis site OAG from last year to this year to determine Allegiant’s available network for July 2026.
In the past few months, Allegiant has dropped service to seven airports: Los Angeles International Airport, Oakland International Airport, Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, Norfolk International Airport, Columbia Metropolitan Airport, Grand Forks International Airport, and San Diego International Airport.
The first four accounted for 43% of the cut flights, Simple Flying reported.

Although Allegiant reported a 9.6% year-over-year increase in operating revenue on its most recent earnings call, the carrier expects its second-quarter capacity to be down 6.5% due to the ongoing situation in Iran and the blocked Strait of Hormuz.

Are Reno Flights Affected by Allegiant’s Cuts?
Though some people flying out of Reno could be affected by Allegiant’s cuts with connecting flights, people flying directly out of Reno won’t be affected by the route cancellations. That is because Allegiant Air hasn’t served the Reno-Tahoe International Airport since January 2024.
