Digital IDs Mandatory In Britain By 2029
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on LInkedIn

Mandatory digital IDs are coming to the United Kingdom by2029. Prime Minister Keir Starmer would like the public to believe that verification is a protective measure to curb illegal immigration. Digital IDs are a purely a CONTROL tactic. Once you allow the government to link every citizen to a digital profile, the next step is obvious and of paramount concern—linking that ID to digital currency and banking. You are no longer a free citizen but a ward of the government who can and will use your digital access to the world to track and control you.

The UK revoked free speech long ago. Comments deemed hateful result in jail time. A wrong “like” or post on social media can result in police knocking on the door. The government determines what is “misinformation” and “hateful,” and any transgression will result in punishment. That punishment will be felt immediately with the implementation of digital IDs. If you say something that displeases Big Brother, your access to society will come to a screeching halt. Due process and checks and balances are not necessary as punishment for suspicion is dealt instantaneously on a digital system.

Digital power enables government to eliminate your access to society—the ability to purchase, receive benefits, work, travel–without warning and it will be your responsibility to prove innocence. Millions of people living in Thailand now understand the power the government holds over them after digital IDs were linked to their ability to bank. The Thai government began freezing tens of thousands of bank accounts per week. Over three million accounts were frozen without notice or proper investigation. Shockwaves of panic spread throughout the nation. Businesses no longer wish to accept credit. Confidence in government and now the banks has been destroyed. This event occurred as a protective measure against money laundering, allegedly, but soon, governments will have the ability to deliberately revoke access to the system. We saw this happen during COVID when digital passports were implemented. China removed the people’s ability to travel to prevent a run on the banks during a panic.

The digital ID will expand to every facet of life from health care to social services. The government has not outlined how it will expand to the financial sector, but that is the ultimate goal as there is no greater control. Starmer warned that Brits will be unable to work without a digital ID. This is merely the beginning of how this platform will be utilized, because this is NOT about immigration.

“Digital ID is an enormous opportunity for the UK. It will make it tougher to work illegally in this country, making our borders more secure,” Starmer declared. “And it will also offer ordinary citizens countless benefits, like being able to prove your identity to access key services swiftly – rather than hunting around for an old utility bill.”

Convenience and safety—the promises provided in exchange for freedom. Governments turn authoritarian when they face economic collapse. Britain is drowning in debt like the rest of the developed world. Reform is not possible because politicians are unable to think outside the box and instead believe that the people are to blame for failed policies and budgets. Increased taxation and regulation go hand in hand with an increased authoritarian state. Welcome to the digital age of government—you are now a number in a system controlled by an authoritarian state. Freedom is an illusion.
