A few months ago, I wrote about the new partnership between Masters AI Legal, the newly launched division of The Masters Conference, and Cat Casey, founder of The TechnoCat, a consulting and speaking practice focused on legal AI, to produce a global conference series devoted to making legal professionals “genuinely fluent in AI.”
On June 17, legal professionals will get to see the fruits of that partnership, as the new partnership presents Masters AI x TechnoCat – Los Angeles, a full-day program that will include an AI crash course and a variety of panels and hands-on workshops.
The program will be presented live in Los Angeles as well as virtually, with full online access to every session.
“Masters AI Legal is built for people tired of polished panels, vague predictions, and AI conversations that never say anything real,” the description says.
“We bring together practitioners, builders, operators, and industry leaders for honest discussions, working sessions, live debates, and practical insight on where AI is taking legal.”
The agenda includes programs of interest to those in both law firms and corporate legal departments, including rapid-fire talks and live discussions designed to both educate and challenge participants.

If you cannot make this one, worry not. Masters is planning a whole series of similar programs, with dates currently scheduled in New York, Dallas, Miami, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Washington.
By the way, this may read like a paid promotion, but it is not. Two of the principals behind this conference are former colleagues of mine from my ALM days: Kevin Vermeulen, CEO, and Henry Dicker, VP of strategy and partnerships, and I know from firsthand experience that they know how to put on a good program.
