A corporate attorney in Baltimore was recently found guilty of forcing an Amtrak attendant to rub his genitals.
Isaac M. Neuberger, 79, a founding member of Neuberger, Quinn, Gielen, Rubin and Gibber in Baltimore, was convicted of indecent assault and harassment involving an Amtrak employee, an incident that happened in 2024.
Neuberger was convicted last week after a two-day trial.
Philadelphia Assistant District Attorney Helena von Nagy, the lead prosector on the case, said Neuberger had “contentious and inappropriate meetings” with the same Amtrak employee three times in the past. The defendant and his accuser testified during the trial, according to coverage by the Baltimore Sun.
According to von Nagy, Neuberger used the employee to “ground his groin.” The lawyer testified that he did not recall the Amtrak incident.
About a decade ago, however, Neuberger pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault in the Baltimore City Circuit Court and was given probation. He is currently out on bail and awaiting sentencing in September.
