10 New Radisson Hotels – NerdWallet
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on LInkedIn

There are some excellent Radisson properties located outside of the U.S. that make great accommodations for trips abroad. Travelers will find several different types of properties, from design-focused brands like Radisson Red to full-service brands like Radisson Blu and its upscale Radisson Collection.

Radisson is also expanding quickly, adding hotels in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, in particular. By 2030, the loyalty program plans to have at least 55 hotels from its portfolio within Morocco and South Africa alone.

Keep in mind that these international Radisson properties are part of the Radisson Rewards program, which is separate from the Choice Privileges program. Choice Privileges is the loyalty program of the Radisson properties in the Americas. To redeem points for award stays at Radissons in Europe, Asia and Africa, you’ll need to collect Radisson Rewards points.

Here are some of the newest Radisson hotel openings outside the Americas that are worth checking out.

Once the Radisson Blu, this hotel has added a new restaurant before transitioning to the Radisson Collection brand in late 2024 and plans to renovate its second dining room. Its infinity pool overlooks the Atlantic Ocean, which is the same view available from many guest room balconies.

Waking up here to views of the city’s famous St. Stephen’s Basilica is a treat, which is also visible from the rooftop bar, which has a menu serving Japanese and Peruvian flavors. From this address, it is easy to walk around the downtown area or visit the nearby Castle district and shopping street.

As its name suggests, compelling art weaves its way through the interior design. The new London Hoxton property features work from designer D*Face as well as access to an art gallery with displays that change monthly.

There is also a calendar of events that takes place at the hotel, including a resident artist that helps curate some of the interiors.

This Radisson property has a unique location with many of the rooms looking directly into Shanghai Stadium, making it a popular choice with sports fans.

If you’re not playing on the field, there is a full gym and indoor pool for guests to get their own work out. This is not the most central hotel in the city, but it is convenient to Shanghai’s bustling Xujiahui district where things like Longhua Temple or iconic Wukang Road are not so far.

The hotel has an infinity pool and bar, spa and beachfront views of the Atlantic Ocean. If you’re planning to host a meeting or event, the hotel is home to the largest conference center in town.
