Day 7 Challenge: The Junk Drawer
Empty it out completely.
Toss anything broken or expired (yes, that AAA battery from 2015 can go).
Group useful items: pens, scissors, tape, etc.
Use dividers, muffin tins, or small containers to keep things in place.
I didn’t get a before picture, but I you can see a clip of me cleaning it out here (my 3-year-old saw it and said, “You were FAST!”!
The closet floor doesn’t look that different, but I went through all of the backpacks (we have different bags for different things — like one for baseball, one for drop-in daycare, etc.) and it felt SO good to have those all re-organized and cleaned out!
Day 8 Challenge: The Closet Floor
Pull everything out and sort into Keep, Toss/Donate, or Relocate.
Let go of uncomfortable shoes, worn bags, or random storage.
Vacuum and wipe down the floor and baseboards.
Put back only what you love and use regularly — ideally in baskets or bins.
