Tonight’s $10 Family Dinner Idea was inspired by leftovers, haha! I served a Build-Your-Own-Pasta Bar to company a few nights ago, and ended up with leftover grilled chicken and Alfredo sauce. I also had some ham (deli meat) that was sitting in the fridge and wasn’t getting used up, so I combined all of them to make this Chicken Alfredo Pizza.
And guess what? My family suddenly gobbled it down, because it was no longer leftovers!
You could definitely use bacon instead of the ham (I used ham because mine needed to be used up), and add whatever additional toppings you love.
This post is part of our $10 Dinner Ideas series, brought to you by Brigette on our team! Each week, she shares easy, delicious, and affordable family-friendly dinner ideas that cost less than $10 to make, use everyday ingredients, and are super quick meals.
If you are super short on time, you can always use store-bought pizza dough or a premade crust. But if you have 10 extra minutes, you have time to make Crystal’s super easy pizza dough from scratch (I highly recommend making a couple of batches of it to have on hand in your freezer!).

Homemade pizza can be such a filling, frugal, family-approved meal. In fact, I’m pretty sure you’ll be seeing more pizza recipes featured in these $10 Dinner Posts in the future!
