• NIKKEI 225 increased 1,163.74 points or 2.33% to 51,028.42

• Shanghai decreased 2.206 points or -0.06% to 3,875.793

• Hang Seng increased 175.17 points or 0.68% to 25,935.90

• ASX 200 increased 23.20 points or 0.27% to 8,618.40

• SENSEX increased 158.51 points or 0.19% to 85,265.32

• Nifty50 increased 47.75 points or 0.18% to 26,033.75

The major Asian currency markets had a mixed day today:

• AUDUSD increased 0.00154 or 0.23% to 0.66163
