Tell Congress to Say NO to Medicaid Cuts

Tell Congress to Say NO to Medicaid Cuts
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on LInkedIn

Congress is rushing forward with a budget plan that threatens Medicaid’s future.

Lawmakers are considering drastic Medicaid cuts that would put older adults, people with disabilities, and low-income families at risk. These policies would harm everyone covered by Medicaid—including more than 12 million people who rely on both Medicaid and Medicare for their health, well-being, and financial security.

Medicaid is essential health coverage.

For those who are enrolled in both programs, it plays a critical role. It can cover Medicare premiums and out-of-pocket costs, provide long-term care, and ensure access to critical services that Medicare alone does not cover. Slashing Medicaid funding would make it harder for many people with Medicare to afford care, stay in their homes and communities, and get the support they need.

As the budget process moves forward, now is the time to make your voice heard.

Tell your lawmakers to protect Medicaid, Medicare, and everyone who relies on the programs.
