The Weekly Notable Startup Funding Report takes us on a trip across various ecosystems in the US, highlighting some of the notable funding activity in the various markets that we track. The notable startup funding rounds for the week ending 8/16/25 featuring funding details for Arintra, GoodShip, XOPS, and seventeen other deals representing $589M in new funding that you need to know about.

Claros Technologies – $10.0M

Saint Paul-based Claros Technologies is an advanced materials company that develops safe and sustainable products with zero toxic waste. Founded by Abdennour Abbas and Michelle Bellanca in 2018, Claros Technologies has now raised a total of $28.2M in total equity funding and is backed by American Century Investments, Capita3, F.R. Bigelow Foundation, Steve Sefton, and University of Minnesota.

Refold (formerly Cobalt) – $6.5M

San Mateo-based Refold AI is a technology company delivering an AI-native integration platform to streamline enterprise-level API and system connectivity. Founded by Abhishek Jha, Abhishek Kumar, and Jugal Anchalia in 2023, Refold (formerly Cobalt) has now raised a total of $7.7M in total equity funding and is backed by Ahead VC, Better Capital, Eniac Ventures, Karman Ventures, Tidal Ventures, and z21 Ventures.

FieldPulse – $50.0M

Dallas-based FieldPulse is an all-in-one application to run your mobile service business – available on iOS, Android, and computer WebApp. Founded by Alex Pinchev and Gabriel Pinchev in 2015, FieldPulse has now raised a total of $79.2M in total equity funding and is backed by Catalyst Investors and Fulcrum Equity Partners.

Jump – $23.0M

Los Angeles-based Jump is a technology enterprise software platform. Founded by Alex Rodriguez, Jordy Leiser, and Marc Lore in 2020, Jump has now raised a total of $53.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Courtside Ventures, Drive by DraftKings, Forerunner, North Carolina Courage, Seven Seven Six, and Will Ventures.

Evertune – $15.0M

New York-based Evertune is a SaaS company that offers enterprises AI chatbot brand monitoring and analytics services Founded by Brian Stempeck, Edward Chater, and Poul Costinsky in 2024, Evertune has now raised a total of $19.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Chip Ransler, David Azose, Eniac Ventures, Felicis, Jonathan Carson, Joseph Spisak, NextView Ventures, Roger Ehrenberg, Sarfraz Maredia, and Sonia Phene.

Squint – $40.0M

San Francisco-based Squint is a manufacturing intelligence platform that helps streamline factory procedures and enhance team execution. Founded by Devin Bhushan in 2021, Squint has now raised a total of $59.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Menlo Ventures, Sequoia Capital, TCV, and The Westly Group.

Create – $5.5M

San Francisco-based Create offers a platform that converts plain-language descriptions into fully functional websites, mobile apps, and full-stack applications. Founded by Dhruv Amin and Marcus Lowe in 2020, Create has now raised a total of $8.5M in total equity funding and is backed by Ben Tossell, Bessemer Venture Partners, Des Traynor, Laura Behrens Wu, Mathilde Collin, Tobias Lütke, and Wade Foster.

Gameto – $44.0M

New York-based Gameto is a biotechnology company developing therapeutics of the female reproductive system using cell engineering. Founded by Dina Radenkovic, Martin Varsavsky, and Pranam Chatterjee in 2020, Gameto has now raised a total of $117.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Arcadia Investment Partners, Bold Capital Partners, Future Ventures, Ingeborg Investments, Insight Partners, Overwater Ventures, Pontiva Healthcare Partners, Portfolia, RA Capital Management, The Pags Group, and Two Sigma Ventures.

Profound – $35.0M

New York-based Profound is an AI visibility and content optimization platform that that helps brands optimize their visibility in generative AI search. Founded by Dylan Babbs and James Cadwallader in 2024, Profound has now raised a total of $58.5M in total equity funding and is backed by Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, Saga Ventures, Sequoia Capital, and South Park Commons.

Citizen Health – $30.0M

San Mateo-based Citizen Health is a personalized AI Advocate platform that helps patients understand and organize their medical information. Founded by Farid Vij and Nasha Fitter in 2023, Citizen Health has now raised a total of $44.5M in total equity funding and is backed by 8VC, Headline, and Transformation Capital.

Tahoe Therapeutics – $30.0M

South San Francisco-based Tahoe Therapeutics is a biotechnology company that develops AI models of human cells to enhance drug discovery. Founded by Hani Goodarzi, Johnny Yu, Kevan Shokat, and Nima Alidoust in 2022, Tahoe Therapeutics has now raised a total of $42.0M in total equity funding and is backed by AIX Ventures, Amplify Partners, Civilization Ventures, Conviction, Databricks Ventures, General Catalyst, Mubadala Capital Ventures, Overlap Holdings, and Wing Venture Capital.

1Kosmos – $47.0M

Somerset-based 1Kosmos provides a unified identity verification and passwordless authentication platform. Founded by Hemen Vimadalal, Michael Engle, and Rohan Pinto in 2018, 1Kosmos has now raised a total of $62.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Craig Abod, Forgepoint Capital, Gula Tech Adventures, NextEra Energy Resources, and Oquirrh Ventures.

Reprieve Cardiovascular – $61.0M

Milford-based Reprieve Cardiovascular is focused on improving outcomes for patients suffering from acute decompensated heart failure. Founded by Jim Dillon in 2018, Reprieve Cardiovascular has now raised a total of $182.9M in total equity funding and is backed by Arboretum Ventures, Cadence Healthcare Ventures, Deerfield Management, Genesis Capital, Lightstone Ventures, Rex Health Ventures, and Sante Ventures.

Isaac Health – $10.5M

New York-based Isaac Health is a technology-driven healthcare company that delivers virtual-first brain health and dementia care services. Founded by Joel Salinas and Julius Bruch in 2021, Isaac Health has now raised a total of $17.6M in total equity funding and is backed by B Capital, Black Opal Ventures, Flare Capital Partners, Industry Ventures, Meridian Street Capital, and Primetime Partners.

Arintra – $21.0M

Austin-based Arintra provides an AI-powered autonomous medical coding platform to streamline hospital and clinic revenue cycle management. Founded by Nitesh Shroff and Preeti Bhargava in 2019, Arintra has now raised a total of $21.4M in total equity funding and is backed by Counterpart Ventures, Endeavor Health, Peak XV Partners, Spider Capital, TEN13, and Y Combinator.

Fountain Life – $18.0M

Naples-based Fountain Life is a preventative health and longevity company that offers AI-powered medical screenings and personalized wellness programs. Founded by Peter Diamandis, Robert Hariri, and Tony Robbins in 2020, Fountain Life has now raised a total of $115.1M in total equity funding and is backed by Bhupendra Modi, Eos Venture Partners, Peter Diamandis, Todd R. Wanek, and Tony Robbins.

Cache – $12.5M

San Francisco-based Cache is a fintech startup that offers brokerage service for individuals holding large stock positions. Founded by Srikanth Narayan in 2022, Cache has now raised a total of $26.8M in total equity funding and is backed by Amar Hanspal, Brian Hale, First Round Capital, Quiet Capital, Timothy Kochis, and Zach Abrams.
