The non-fungible token market has seen a rebound in 2025, marked by a significant increase in market capitalization and trading sales volumes, driven by strong market performance in blue-chip non-fungible token projects. For the first time since January, the NFT market has seen its market capitalization reach +$8.4 billion in August. In this article, we have listed some of the top NFT gainers and losers in August.

NFT Gainers In August 2025

Moonbirds, a non-fungible token collection previously from the digital asset incubation studio Proof Collective, featuring a limited edition of 10,000 pixilated owl-themed profile pictures hosted on the Ethereum blockchain network, is one of the top gainers in the NFT market this month. In the past 30 days, the Moonbirds NFT has seen its floor price surge to 3.2 ETH, up 89% from the past month. Moonbirds is now managed by the digital asset firm, Orange Cap Games.

CryptoPunks V1 is another NFT collection that has recorded significant gains in August. Punk V1 is a non-fungible token collection featuring a limited edition of 5,088 original Punks, which were earlier deemed inauthentic due to a smart contract vulnerability that allowed buyers to obtain them without paying funds. Even though previously rejected by Larva Labs and replaced with the v2 collection, these v1 Punks were resurrected by the community with a wrapper contract that made them ERC-721 compatible, allowing them to be traded on secondary NFT marketplaces. In the past 30 days, the Punks NFT collection has seen its floor price surge by over 60% to 4.33 ETH.

Meebits, a non-fungible token collection featuring a limited edition of 20,000 pixilated NFTs previously created on the Ethereum blockchain network by the digital asset incubation studio Larva Labs, but now managed by the Meeb company, is another NFT collection that has made positive gains in August. In the past 30 days, the Meebits NFT has seen its floor price surge +27% from the past month.

NoneMonkes, a non-fungible token collection featuring a limited edition of 10,000 pixilated arts hosted on the Bitcoin blockchain network, is another NFT collection that recorded positive gains in August 2025. In the past 30 days, the NodeMonkes NFT collection has seen its floor price rise by over 10% from the past month. During this time, the NodeMonkes NFT floor price value has reached 0.04 BTC.
