Rarible, a renowned multi-chain non-fungible token marketplace, has successfully added support for the Somnia blockchain network. This integration will allow Rarible market platform users to buy and sell non-fungible token collections and games on the Somnia blockchain network, including the Netherak Demon, Maelstrom, Dark Table, Mask of the Void, and QRusader. In this article, we shall explore more about this integration.

Rarible Integrates Somnia Network

In a July 31 blog post, the Rarible team confirmed that they have integrated the Somnia network into their platform. Under the new integration, non-fungible token users can now mint, list, and trade Somnia non-fungible token collections directly on the RaribleFUN, a fast and fast-growing NFT marketplace. To celebrate the integration, the Somnia team has launched a free open edition NFT drop featuring over 50 Somnia ecosystem artworks inspired by its projects, partners, and infrastructure tools.

Launched in 2021, Rarible is a multi-chain platform allowing collectors to buy, sell, and create non-fungible tokens. During the 2021 NFT market bull run, Rarible NFT marketplace grew in popularity and reached more than 2 million users. Since that time, the NFT marketplace has retained relevance and is today one of the leading NFT market platforms in the NFT market.

Rarible supports five blockchain networks: Ethereum, Tezos, Polygon, Solana, and Immutable X. This multichain approach allows users to create, buy, and sell NFTs across different blockchains, offering more flexibility and options for both creators and collectors. Rarible stands out for its user-friendly interface, focus on community governance through the RARI token, and features like built-in royalty payments for creators.

Rarible NFT marketplace is known for its straightforward design, making it accessible to both beginners and experienced NFT users. It allows creators to easily mint NFTs, including setting prices, choosing auction formats, and specifying royalty percentages for future sales. Rarible stands out as a unique NFT marketplace due to its focus on community ownership, creator empowerment, and multi-chain support, all while offering flexible royalty options.

Rarible x Somnia Integration Explained

On the other hand, Somnia is a high-performance, EVM-compatible blockchain designed for gaming and other real-time, mass-consumer applications. It aims to provide a scalable and cost-effective platform with the ability to handle millions of transactions per second and sub-second finality. Essentially, Somnia is built to power the next generation of web3 experiences, including games, social platforms, and metaverses, by offering the speed and efficiency typically associated with web2 applications.

From dynamic gaming ecosystems to identity-driven assets and cult-favorite PFPs, Somnia is shaping up to be a serious contender in the on-chain experience race. Somnia isn’t just offering speed or cheap gas, it’s building a playground for creators, game designers, storytellers, and collectors. Whether you’re into identity NFTs, PvP gaming, or lore-rich universes, the Somnia blockchain network is slowly becoming the place to experiment and explore.
