Microsoft (MSFT) is reportedly discussing plans to co-design custom chips with Broadcom (AVGO) to meet growing demand amid intensifying competition in the AI space.
A report by The Information on Dec. 6 said that Microsoft (MSFT), which had formerly worked with semiconductor company Marvell (MRVL), is now turning to Broadcom to develop custom AI chips as demand for the technology increases.
