March Survey of Business Uncertainty: Sales revenue growth (smoothed) uncertainty over the next four quarters dipped to 3.73% from 3.84% in February. Sales revenue growth expectations have returned to their pre-pandemic average, however, “firms remain more uncertain about future revenue growth than they were before the pandemic,” according to the Atlanta Fed. Employment growth (smoothed) fell to 4.07% from 4.14% in the prior month. Expected employment growth has improved in recent months, the Atlanta Fed said. Meanwhile, uncertainty about employment growth has returned to pre-pandemic levels.
