Entrepreneurs come from all different walks of life… and business management styles.

There’s no one right way to turn what you love into a successful business.

But the more you know about how you work, the easier it is to see strengths, weaknesses, and where you can grow. Take the quiz to learn more about what type of entrepreneur you are, and how you can learn from it.

1. When you think about growing your business, what excites you most?

A. Legacy. I’m excited to build something solid that could last for decades.

B. Novelty. I love a bold idea no one else would attempt.

C. Growth. I get excited about scaling operations and increasing efficiency.

D. Creativity. There’s nothing more exciting than reaching my audience and expressing creativity.

2. How do you usually make decisions?

A. Carefully and cautiously, with long-term impact in mind.

B. Gut feelings. I try to move quickly and trust my first reaction.

C. Numbers. I consider the data and past performance before deciding what’s next.

D. Purpose. I go with whatever feels aligned with my vision and core values.

3. What’s your biggest business priority right now?

A. Stability and sustainability

B. Taking advantage of new opportunities

C. Managing growth without breaking things

D. Expanding my brand or platform

4. How do you handle finances?

A. With regularity. I try to stay on top of everything and plan ahead.

B. It’s always changing, I figure it out as I go.

C. With the help of expert advice. We track everything closely and adjust often.

D. By being growth-minded. I focus more on earning than tracking.

5. Uh-oh! A whole month hits. What’s your first instinct?

A. Don’t panic. I review my numbers and adjust spending.

B. Shake things up. This is a sign to try something new to spark sales.

C. This is why I plan ahead. With savings, we weather the storm and double down on what’s been working.

D. Engagement. I reach out to my customers to see what they’re missing.

6. What are your feelings toward risk?

A. I don’t love it, but I know it’s a part of business. I take calculated risks when I have to

B. I’m all in—high risk, high reward

C. What risk? I minimize risk through planning

D. Risk is a part of the job. I prioritize taking creative risks, not financial ones

7. What does success look like to you?

A. Longevity, creating a business that can support future generations.

B. Making it happen. Success is turning an idea into something real.

C. Growth. Being able to run a business well, while growing year over year.

D. Recognition, building a brand people remember.

8. What’s your approach to customers?

A. Word of mouth. I like to build long-term relationships through repeat customers and connections.

B. Discovery. I love meeting people wherever the opportunity is, even if it’s unexpected.

C. Retention. I want to create systems that retain and grow customer relationships.

D. Engagement. I try to connect with my audience and interact with them directly.

9. What’s your preferred work style?

A. Steady and consistent. I like doing the same things every day.

B. Fast-paced and unpredictable. No two days are alike.

C. Structured and organized. Days are planned, but I’m learning along the way.

D. Interactive and creative. I don’t do well on my own! I love being around people to spark creativity.

10. When things get overwhelming, what do you do?

A. Pause. Step back and make a plan.

B. Adapt. Push through and solve on the fly.

C. Rely on process. I break the problem into systems and steps.

D. Find my center. Refocus on what inspires me.
