Wells Fargo Transfer Partners: What to Know
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on LInkedIn

SOME CARD INFO MAY BE OUTDATED

This page includes information about these cards, currently unavailable on
NerdWallet. The information has been collected by NerdWallet and has not
been provided or reviewed by the card issuer.

Wells Fargo has a small but growing list of transfer partners that gives cardholders another way to redeem their points for flights or hotel stays. The transfer partners are not particularly exciting or exclusive, but some might provide decent redemption options for flights or stays.

Transferable points (such as Wells Fargo points, Chase Ultimate Rewards®, AmEx Membership Rewards, Capital One miles) give you the flexibility to redeem points with different airlines or hotels. That makes it possible to shop around for the best points prices, instead of redeeming points at a fixed rate for cash back or through a credit card issuer’s travel portal.

Wells Fargo introduced transfer partners in 2024 and has added two more since then: JetBlue Airways’ TrueBlue program in November 2025 and Wyndham Rewards in April 2026.

The full list of Wells Fargo transfer partners

Airlines

Hotels

Unlike other issuers that require you to transfer at least 1,000 points, or in 1,000-point increments, Wells Fargo allows you to transfer any number of points.

The best Wells Fargo transfer partners

Avianca LifeMiles is the loyalty program of Colombian airline Avianca. Because this airline is a member of the Star Alliance, you can use Avianca LifeMiles to book flights on partners like United and Lufthansa. It offers decent redemptions for flights to Hawaii, Europe, and South America and does not pass fuel surcharges on to customers (although there is a $25 partner booking fee).
Choice Privileges is one of two hotel loyalty programs that are Wells Fargo transfer partners. The 1:2 transfer ratio is especially favorable, where 1 Wells Fargo point will turn into 2 Choice Privileges points. NerdWallet values Choice points at 0.8 cent each, so that could mean cardholders redeem their Wells Fargo point for a value of 1.6 cents each if they transfer to Choice.

Choice Hotels also encompasses a wide range of properties, from Quality Inn to Radisson Blu, and even some all-inclusive properties in the Ascend Collection.

JetBlue offers some decent domestic flight redemptions, especially if you want to fly its Mint first class. It isn’t part of an airline alliance, but it also offers redemptions on some its partner airlines, including Condor, a German airline with lie-flat business class seats on transatlantic flights.

Wells Fargo’s newest transfer partner, Wyndham Rewards, also has a favorable 1:2 transfer ratio. That means Wells Fargo cardholders will get more Wyndham points than people who transfer from Chase, Capital One, Citi or Bilt. With Wyndham’s 0.7 cent valuation in NerdWallet’s analysis, cardholders can redeem their Well Fargo points with for 1.4 cents each.

Wyndham award nights for a one-bedroom unit start at 7,500 points per night and are capped at 30,000 points per night. Use Wyndham points for stays in expensive tourist destinations — there’s even one on-property at Disney World! — or at properties where you may be able to get two-bedroom suites for low points prices.

Which Wells Fargo cards allow transfers to partners?

People with a Wells Fargo Autograph® Card or a Wells Fargo Autograph Journey℠ Card can transfer their points to travel partners.

That’s notable because Wells Fargo allows transfers from its $0-annual-fee travel card. Other issuers usually limit transfer partners to their travel cards with annual fees or reduce the transfer ratios for $0 cards. The ability to transfer points is one reason the Wells Fargo Autograph® Card was named the best travel card with no annual fee in NerdWallet’s 2026 Best-Of Awards.

Earn 20,000 bonus points when you spend $1,000 in purchases in the first 3 months – that’s a $200 cash redemption value.

5 points per $1 on hotels booked directly with the hotel.

4 points per $1 on airfare booked directly with the airline.

3 points per $1 on other travel and dining purchases.

1 point per $1 on all other qualifying purchases.

Wells Fargo Autograph® Card

Unlimited 3 points per dollar spent on:

Plus, 1 point per dollar spent on other purchases.

It’s also possible to earn points on other Wells Fargo cards, such as the Wells Fargo Active Cash® Card , and combine those points with the points on an Autograph card, to be able to transfer the sum to a partner.

Should you transfer your Wells Fargo points?

If you find a redemption with an airline or hotel loyalty program that costs fewer points than you would spend in the travel portal, it might be worth considering transferring your points, especially if you’ll get more than 1 cent per point in value. Since Wells Fargo doesn’t have minimum transfer requirements, it’s also a good option if you just need a few hundred points to top off your airline or hotel program account.

Just keep in mind you will not be able to return your points to your Wells Fargo account once you transfer. It’s a one-way street. If the availability disappears or you change your mind, your points will remain with the loyalty program you transferred them to.

How to maximize your rewards
