Home Depot is hosting another free Kids Workshop in June. This month’s project is to build a Goalie Game! This free workshop is available at your local Home Depot store on June 6th, 2026 at 9 a.m. while supplies last.
Registration usually fills up quickly, so sign up right away!
What is the Kids Home Depot Workshop?
Home Depot offers a variety of in-person and virtual workshops for children and adults. They’re all free of charge and cover a variety of topics and project areas.
Each kids workshop offers a how-to kit aimed to teach kids how to create useful and educational projects while emphasizing tool safety.

What time are the Home Depot Workshops?
The kids’ events are held on the first Saturday of each month between 9 am – 12 pm.
They are free and in-person, but you must register ahead of time — and make sure you register for the correct store location. Spaces always go quickly!
How to Sign Up For Home Depot Kids Workshops
Simply click on the “sign up” link below the Kids Workshop image and enter your information. Just make sure you’re registered for the correct location (the location will appear at the top of the signup form).

Kids Workshop Home Depot FAQs
The workshops are held from 9 am – noon and are “come-and-go style”. You may stick around for the entire 3-hour window or quickly complete your project and leave. In many cases, you can even take the kit home to do the project at home if you’re short on time.
They are geared toward kids ages 5 – 12.
Yes, the workshops are free of charge, but you must register (and the slots fill up quickly!)
