Capital One Venture X Could Snag You a Shot at World Cup Tickets
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on LInkedIn

Capital One has joined the list of issuers offering eligible cardholders the chance to purchase FIFA World Cup tickets. They’re not always easy (or cheap) to snag, but FIFA has reserved a special selection for qualifying cardholders through a partnership with Visa.

Starting Feb. 12, 2026, holders of the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card will have exclusive access to buy up to four tickets across all U.S. host cities. Tickets are available through Feb. 24, 2026, while supplies last.

Here’s what you’ll need to do to score tickets.

Get your action plan ready

You’ll have to visit Capital One’s website to enter your Venture X card number and verify that it’s eligible. After the verification, you’ll be directed to a ticketing platform page to purchase tickets.

Miles cannot be redeemed for tickets, but you can earn 2 miles per dollar spent when you buy them.

🤓Nerdy Tip

You must have a FIFA ID to buy World Cup tickets, so if you don’t already have one, best to go ahead and set it up before the promotion opens to avoid delays. You can do this via the FIFA ticketing site.

Make the most of your card

Before the big purchase, strategize how you’ll make the most of the card to get more value. If you’re a new cardholder, you’ll get a lot more upfront, as the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card has a welcome offer that’ll be easier to meet with a large purchase: Earn 75,000 bonus miles when you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening, equal to $750 in travel. The card has a $395 annual fee.

The Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card also packs plenty of other incentives that can help offset travel-related costs for the big game, including:

5 miles per dollar on flights and vacation rentals booked through Capital One Travel.

10 miles per dollar on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel.

Up to $300 annual credit for bookings made through Capital One Travel.

10,000 bonus miles every account anniversary (equal to $100 toward travel).

Unlimited access to Capital One Lounges and more than 1,300 lounges through the Capital One Partner Network.
