2026 Walk to End Alzheimer’s: Presenting Sponsor in Albany

Herzog Law Firm is excited to be the presenting sponsor of the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Albany, as well as a sponsor for the remainder of the Walk events in the area. This October, five Walk to End Alzheimer’s events will take place across the Capital Region, in Albany, Queensbury, Schenectady, Troy, and Cooperstown. Last year’s walks raised close to $800,000; this year’s combined goal is $825,000, all going toward care, support, and research for families affected by the disease.

Herzog Law Firm has backed the Alzheimer’s Association for years, and Managing Principal David Kubikian, Esq., spoke about our ‘why’ at this week’s announcement event. David shared that more than 400,000 people in New York State have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and close to 25,000 of them are here in the Capital Region alone. This number doesn’t include those people who are living with the disease but haven’t been diagnosed. Additionally, a diagnosis like this rarely affects just one person. Spouses, kids, extended family… all of them absorb some part of it, whether that’s the cost of a nursing home or the hours of labor and love that go into daily caregiving.

That’s one of the main focuses of our team here at Herzog Law Firm: supporting families who are dealing with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or other long-term care needs and helping them find a path to home care or other long-term support that meets their unique needs. David put it simply: sponsoring the walk each year is “the least we can do.”

Herzog employees walk it too, alongside clients, neighbors, friends, and family members. All are welcome to join our team for this year’s Walk!

Upcoming Walks

Schenectady: Oct. 3, Mohawk HarborCooperstown: Oct. 4, Clark Sports ArenaQueensbury: Oct. 17, SUNY AdirondackTroy/Columbia Greene: Oct. 18, Joseph Bruno StadiumAlbany: Oct. 24, Siena University
