Each year, insurers adjust these networks to reflect costs, contracts, and regulatory requirements. While some changes are announced, others remain hidden until retirees attempt to access care. 1. Hospitals Dropping Out of Networks

One of the most significant hidden changes involves hospitals leaving Medicare Advantage networks. Contract disputes over reimbursement rates often lead to sudden exclusions.
