REPLAY: Elite Trader Q&A – The “Original Sin” That Kills Every Trader’s Progress
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on LInkedIn

Session 3 of our “Traders of Our Time” series was different. It was an unscripted Q&A where Bogdan Stoichescu and Peter Davies tackled the real questions submitted by our trading community.

What You’ll Discover in the Replay: Bogdan didn’t just answer questions – he grouped them to reveal the deeper issues behind what traders are really asking. The insights were eye-opening:

The “Compromise” Problem: Many traders try to fit trading around their life constraints rather than committing fully. As Bogdan explained: “Unfortunately, it doesn’t work like that. There’s no amateur league – it’s an all or nothing domain.”

The Psychology Trap: Most “psychology” questions actually stem from skill deficits. “You can take care of psychology by being precise and really understanding what you’re doing,” Bogdan noted. It’s like trying to optimize your car’s tires when half the engine doesn’t work.

The Reductive Fallacy: Questions seeking specific rules, setups, or confirmation processes miss the point entirely. Markets can only be navigated, not solved. The “trader’s original sin” is trying to make an infinite process finite.

Outdated Labels: Terms like “day trading” and “scalping” are products of old market structures. Modern successful traders don’t think in these categories – they adapt to whatever phenomena the market presents.

Key Practical Insights:

Professional traders rarely use detailed options data – they focus on high-quality, diagnostic information
Dynamic position sizing is an extremely high-skill technique that even successful traders don’t always use
Age and family are becoming advantages, not limitations – the average age of successful traders keeps rising
Everything begins with pure observation of order flow and price action

The Reality Check: Peter and Bogdan discussed why learning multiple trading skills simultaneously is so challenging when you can’t get feedback on individual components – a core problem for solo traders.

Bogdan’s complete documentation reveals exactly how all 10 traders constructed their unique approaches. Each one built something different from the same foundational pieces.

His 500-page book contains the detailed construction blueprints of all 10 elite traders.

Chapter 1 shows you the environment where this construction happens and gives you the first building blocks.
