Investing.com – Germany stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Frankfurt, the lost 0.07%, while the index lost 0.47%, and the index declined 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the were RWE AG ST O.N. (ETR:), which rose 1.54% or 0.57 points to trade at 37.49 at the close. Meanwhile, E.ON SE (ETR:) added 1.22% or 0.15 points to end at 12.48 and SAP SE (ETR:) was up 1.10% or 1.62 points to 148.88 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Porsche Automobil Holding SE (ETR:), which fell 1.79% or 0.79 points to trade at 43.44 at the close. Commerzbank AG O.N. (ETR:) declined 1.73% or 0.19 points to end at 11.06 and Siemens Healthineers AG (ETR:) was down 1.55% or 0.82 points to 51.98.
The top performers on the MDAX were Aixtron SE (ETR:) which rose 3.38% to 35.49, Redcare Pharmacy NV (ETR:) which was up 2.82% to settle at 127.70 and Kion Group AG (ETR:) which gained 1.93% to close at 39.13.
The worst performers were Knorr-Bremse AG (ETR:) which was down 4.70% to 54.76 in late trade, HelloFresh SE (ETR:) which lost 4.14% to settle at 11.57 and Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) which was down 3.86% to 21.55 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Aixtron SE (ETR:) which rose 3.38% to 35.49, CompuGroup Medical AG O.N. (ETR:) which was up 2.21% to settle at 39.76 and Atoss Software AG (ETR:) which gained 2.06% to close at 222.50.
The worst performers were Morphosys AG O.N. (ETR:) which was down 11.06% to 33.74 in late trade, Kontron AG (ETR:) which lost 4.31% to settle at 22.20 and Energiekontor AG (ETR:) which was down 2.80% to 76.40 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 327 to 278 and 42 ended unchanged.
Shares in SAP SE (ETR:) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.10% or 1.62 to 148.88. Shares in HelloFresh SE (ETR:) fell to 3-years lows; losing 4.14% or 0.50 to 11.57.
The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 2.10% to 13.97.
Gold Futures for February delivery was up 0.25% or 5.05 to $2,026.65 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 1.08% or 0.80 to hit $73.15 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract fell 0.80% or 0.63 to trade at $78.47 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.08% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.36% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 103.18.
