The Weekly Notable Startup Funding Report takes us on a trip across various ecosystems in the US, highlighting some of the notable funding activity in the various markets that we track. The notable startup funding rounds for the week ending 6/28/25 featuring funding details for Flexiv, Neuron23, DataBahn, and twenty-four other deals representing $1.56B in new funding that you need to know about.

BackOps AI – $6.0M

San Francisco-based BackOps AI revolutionize supply chain management with AI-Driven autonomous business solutions. Founded by Henry Ou and Sean McCarthy in 2024, BackOps AI has now raised a total of $8.0M in total equity funding and is backed by 10vc, Construct Capital, and Gradient.

Digital Asset – $135.0M

New York-based Digital Asset develops distributed ledger and smart contract infrastructure aimed at enabling synchronized finance across institutions. Founded by Don Wilson, Eric Saraniecki, Shaul Kfir, Sunil Hirani, and Yuval Rooz in 2014, Digital Asset has now raised a total of $442.2M in total equity funding and is backed by 7RIDGE, BNP Paribas, Circle Ventures, Citadel Securities, DRW Venture Capital, DTCC, Goldman Sachs, IMC, Liberty City Ventures, Optiver, Paxos, Polychain, QCP, Republic, Tradeweb, and Virtu Financial.

Paraform – $20.0M

San Francisco-based Paraform connects sales teams with recruiters to streamline hiring processes. Founded by Jeffrey Li and John Kim in 2023, Paraform has now raised a total of $25.0M in total equity funding and is backed by A*, Bond, DST Global, Felicis, Harley Finkelstein, Liquid 2 Ventures, Mark Pincus, and Shyam Sankar.

Neuron23 – $96.5M

San Francisco-based Neuron23 is a developer of drugs intended to treat Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease. Founded by Adam Knight in 2018, Neuron23 has now raised a total of $310.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Acorn Bioventures, Blue Owl, HBM Healthcare Investments, Kleiner Perkins, Redmile Group, SoftBank Vision Fund, and Westlake Village BioPartners.

Qunnect – $10.0M

New York-based Qunnect is a spin-off venture company enabling the quantum internet for quantum repeater operation. Founded by Mael Flament and Mehdi Namazi in 2017, Qunnect has now raised a total of $18.8M in total equity funding and is backed by Airbus Ventures, Cisco Investments, and Quantonation.

Clearspeed – $60.0M

San Diego-based Clearspeed provides voice-based risk assessment technology that identifies potential risk in speech using vocal characteristics. Founded by Alexander Martin in 2016, Clearspeed has now raised a total of $87.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Align Private Capital, Bravo Victor Venture Capital, David Petraeus, IronGate Capital Advisors, and KBW Ventures.

XBOW – $75.0M

Seattle-based XBOW operates autonomously, carrying out commands and analyzing the results to achieve higher-level objectives. Founded by Oege de Moor in 2024, XBOW has now raised a total of $117.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Altimeter Capital, Nat Friedman, and Sequoia Capital.

Kognitos – $25.0M

San Jose-based Kognitos is an AI platform that automates business operations using natural language. Founded by Binny Gill in 2020, Kognitos has now raised a total of $53.3M in total equity funding and is backed by Alumni Ventures, Dentsu Ventures, Engineering Capital, Khosla Ventures, Prosperity7 Ventures, and Wipro Ventures.

Abridge – $300.0M

Pittsburgh-based Abridge is an AI-driven platform that transforms patient-clinician conversations into structured clinical notes for healthcare industries. Founded by Florian Metze, Sandeep Konam, and Shivdev Rao in 2018, Abridge has now raised a total of $757.5M in total equity funding and is backed by Andreessen Horowitz and Khosla Ventures.

New York-based OpenRouter is a platform that connects AI applications with large language models and cloud hosting providers. Founded by Alex Atallah and Louis Vichy in 2023, OpenRouter has now raised a total of $40.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Menlo Ventures, and Sequoia Capital.

Flexiv – $100.0M

Santa Clara-based Flexiv Ltd. is a global leading general-purpose robotics company, focusing on developing and manufacturing adaptive robots. Founded by Shiquan Wang in 2016, Flexiv has now raised a total of $322.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Angel Plus China, eGarden Ventures, Gaorong Capital, GF Xinde Investment Management, Magic Capital, Tsinghua Holdings Capital, and Yonggui Fund.

Empo Health – $7.0M

San Bruno-based Empo Health is an in-home health monitoring that fits seamlessly into patients’ lives. Founded by Anuj Khandelwal and Eric Dahlseng in 2020, Empo Health has now raised a total of $7.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Arben Ventures, Gaingels, SeaX Ventures, Story Ventures, Ulu Ventures, and VTC Ventures.

AllSpice.io – $15.0M

Boston-based AllSpice.io is a platform built for hardware teams, enabling engineers to manage, review, and collaborate on designs more effectively. Founded by Kyle Dumont and Valentina Ratner in 2018, AllSpice.io has now raised a total of $25.3M in total equity funding and is backed by Benchstrength, DNX Ventures, Flybridge, GingerBread Capital, L’ATTITUDE Ventures, Rethink Impact, and Root Ventures.

Qualytics – $10.0M

Baltimore-based Qualytics helps improve the quality of enterprise decision-making with real-time data surveillance. Founded by Daniel Roche, Eric simmerman, Gorkem Sevinc, and Stewart Bryson in 2020, Qualytics has now raised a total of $15.5M in total equity funding and is backed by BMW i Ventures, Conductive Ventures, Firebrand Ventures, Inner Loop Capital, Knoll Ventures, Rich Family Ventures, SaaS Ventures, and Tech Square Ventures.

Kalshi – $185.0M

New York-based Kalshi is an exchange app that allows people to trade on event outcomes. Founded by Luana Lopes Lara and Tarek Mansour in 2018, Kalshi has now raised a total of $215.2M in total equity funding and is backed by Bond, Multicoin Capital, Neo, Paradigm, Peng Zhao, and Sequoia Capital.

Brij – $8.0M

New York-based Brij is a platform that powers one-touch product registration and reorders by connecting physical products to digital experiences. Founded by Kait Margraf Stephens and Zack Morrison in 2019, Brij has now raised a total of $11.9M in total equity funding and is backed by Bright Pixel (formerly Sonae IM), CEAS Investments, Forum Ventures, Lakehouse Ventures, Red Bike Capital, SuperAngel.Fund, and The Artemis Fund. San Francisco-based Eventual makes processing images, video & audio as easy as SQL. Their platform helps AI companies handle petabytes of multimodal data. Founded by Jay Chia and Sammy Sidhu in 2022, Eventual has now raised a total of $30.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Citi, Felicis, and M12 – Microsoft’s Venture Fund.

Harvey – $300.0M

San Francisco-based Harvey provides AI-driven tools to assist legal professionals with research, document review, and contract analysis. Founded by Gabe Pereyra and Winston Weinberg in 2022, Harvey has now raised a total of $806.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Coatue, Conviction Partners, DST Global, Elad Gil, Elemental Ventures, Google Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, Kris Fredrickson, OpenAI Startup Fund, REV, Sequoia Capital, and SV Angel.

Gemist – $6.0M

Los Angeles-based Gemist is the first-ever D2C custom jewelry company that allows consumers to design jewelry and try it on before they buy. Founded by Madeline Fraser in 2018, Gemist has now raised a total of $12.8M in total equity funding and is backed by Collide Capital, Entrada Ventures, and The Artemis Fund.

LanceDB – $30.0M

San Francisco-based LanceDB is a developer friendly, open source database for multi-modal AI. Founded by Chang She and Lei Xu in 2021, LanceDB has now raised a total of $41.0M in total equity funding and is backed by CRV, Databricks Ventures, Runway, Swift Ventures, Theory Ventures, Y Combinator, and Zero Prime Ventures.

DataBahn – $17.0M

Dallas-based DataBahn is an AI-powered data pipeline management tool that automates and enriches telemetry data with AI-enabled precision. Founded by Nanda Santhana and Nithya Nareshkumar in 2024, DataBahn has now raised a total of $17.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Forgepoint Capital, GTM Capital, and S3 Ventures.

Mandolin – $40.0M

Indianapolis-based Mandolin is a digital platform designed to help artists, venues, and fans connect through live music. Founded by Mary Kay Huse, Robert Meitus, and Steve Caldwell in 2020, Mandolin has now raised a total of $57.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Greylock, Guillermo Rauch, Jerry Chih Yuan Yang, Maverick Ventures, SignalFire, SV Angel, and Timeless.

Jobright – $3.2M

Santa Clara-based Jobright is an AI-native job platform providing a career agent that finds, customizes, and submits applications on behalf of job seekers. Founded by Eric Cheng and Ethan Zheng in 2023, Jobright has now raised a total of $7.7M in total equity funding and is backed by HR Tech Investments LLC and Translink Capital.

EnsoData – $20.0M

Madison-based EnsoData is a healthcare technology company that offers AI-powered software to improve sleep study management and diagnostics. Founded by Chris Fernandez, Nick Glattard, and Sam Rusk in 2015, EnsoData has now raised a total of $51.1M in total equity funding and is backed by Inspire Medical Systems, Questa Capital Management, Supermoon Capital, Venture Investors, and Zetta Venture Partners.

Foresight Data – $5.5M

New York-based Foresight Data provides a platform for data-driven private market investors, integrating all investment data and offering IT services. Founded by Adam Devine and Jason Miller in 2023, Foresight Data has now raised a total of $5.5M in total equity funding and is backed by KDX and New Enterprise Associates.

K2View – $15.0M

Dallas-based K2view Data Platform: AI-ready, protected, complete data instantly. Reuse at scale for RAG, synthetic data, testing & cloud migration. Founded by Achi Rotem and Rafi Cohen in 2009, K2View has now raised a total of $43.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Trinity Capital.

Sceye – $15.0M

Moriarty-based Sceye is a material science company that is leading the development of a new generation of high-altitude platform stations. Founded by Mikkel Vestergaard Frandsen in 2014, Sceye has now raised a total of $65.0M in total equity funding and is backed by SoftBank.
