The Weekly Notable Startup Funding Report takes us on a trip across various ecosystems in the US, highlighting some of the notable funding activity in the various markets that we track. The notable startup funding rounds for the week ending 12/6/25 featuring funding details for Ostium, Yoodli, Simular, and twenty-two other deals representing $1.93B in new funding that you need to know about.

Ripple Foods – $17.0M

Berkeley-based Ripple Foods specializes in making non-dairy milk with just as much protein as milk and half the sugar. Founded by Adam Lowry and Neil Renninger in 2014, Ripple Foods has now raised a total of $330.8M in total equity funding and is backed by Euclidean Capital, Fall Line Capital, Material Impact, Prelude Ventures, Rich Products Ventures, S2G Investments, Tao Capital Partners, and Tim Koogle.

Tutor Intelligence – $34.0M

Cambridge-based Tutor Intelligence builds AI-driven warehouse robots that handle picking, packing, and material-handling operations. Founded by Alon Kosowsky-Sachs and Josh Gruenstein in 2021, Tutor Intelligence has now raised a total of $78.6M in total equity funding and is backed by Fundomo, Neo, and Union Square Ventures.

Castelion – $350.0M

Torrance-based Castelion is a defense tech company that applies modern hardware development and manufacturing processes to national security challenges. Founded by Andrew Kreitz, Bryon Hargis, and Sean Pitt in 2022, Castelion has now raised a total of $439.6M in total equity funding and is backed by Altimeter Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Avenir Group, BlueYard Capital, Cantos, Champion Hill Ventures, First In, General Catalyst, Interlagos Capital, Lavrock Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Silent Ventures, Space.VC, and Valor Equity Partners.

Simular – $21.5M

Palo Alto-based Simular is a company that creates AI-powered agents to automate how people use computers and the web. Founded by Ang Li and JC Yang in 2023, Simular has now raised a total of $27.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Basis Set Ventures, Felicis, Flying Fish Partners, Lenny Rachitsky, NVentures, and South Park Commons.

Angle Health – $134.0M

San Francisco-based Angle Health provides a technology-enabled health insurance platform to simplify employer-sponsored healthcare benefits. Founded by Anirban Gangopadhyay and Tylon Wang in 2019, Angle Health has now raised a total of $196.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Blumberg Capital, Mighty Capital, Portage Ventures, PruVen Capital, SixThirty, TSVC, Wing Venture Capital, and Y Combinator.

San Jose-based Axiado is a security processor company redefining hardware root of trust with hardware-based security technologies, including per-system AI. Founded by Axel Kloth, Gopi Sirineni, and GOPI SIRINENI in 2019, Axiado Corporation Inc has now raised a total of $195.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Crosslink Capital, Maverick Silicon, Nosterra Ventures, Orbit Venture Partners, and Prosperity7 Ventures.

Portal to Bitcoin – $25.0M

San Francisco-based Portal to Bitcoin is a financial services company that trades crypto without putting coins at risk. Founded by Chandra Duggirala, Chandra Duggirala, Eric Martindale, George Burke, Manoj Duggirala, and Travis Skweres in 2018, Portal to Bitcoin has now raised a total of $117.5M in total equity funding and is backed by Arrington XRP Capital, Coinbase Ventures, JTSA Global, and OKX Ventures.

ZincFive – $30.0M

Tualatin-based ZincFive provides energy storage and delivery solutions, designing and supplying nickel-zinc (NiZn) battery systems. Founded by Dan Sisson and Tim Hysell in 2015, ZincFive has now raised a total of $162.7M in total equity funding and is backed by Clear Creek Investments, Climate Investment, Helios Climate Ventures, and Japan Energy Fund.

Yoodli – $40.0M

Seattle-based Yoodli is an AI-driven learning platform that enhances communication skills using personalized roleplays and adaptive coaching. Founded by Esha Joshi and Varun Puri in 2021, Yoodli has now raised a total of $60.7M in total equity funding and is backed by Madrona, Neotribe Ventures, and WestBridge Capital.

Nada – $10.0M

Dallas-based Nada is the platform helping homeowners achieve financial freedom through their home equity Founded by Felipe Miranda, John Green, and Mauricio Delgado in 2019, Nada has now raised a total of $24.9M in total equity funding and is backed by Interlock Partners, LiveOak Ventures, and Riverwalk Capital Partners.

PermitFlow – $54.0M

New York-based PermitFlow is a construction permitting software that simplifies the permit preparation and submission process. Founded by Francis Thumpasery and Samuel Lam in 2021, PermitFlow has now raised a total of $90.5M in total equity funding and is backed by Accel, Altos Ventures, Felicis, Initialized Capital, Kleiner Perkins, and Y Combinator.

Curative – $150.0M

Austin-based Curative provides employer-based health insurance plans and healthcare services. Founded by Fred Turner, Isaac Turner, and Vlad Slepnev in 2020, Curative has now raised a total of $158.0M in total equity funding and is backed by DCVC, Duquesne Family Office, JAM Fund, Martin Varsavsky, Michael Novogratz, and Upside Vision Fund.

Eon – $300.0M

New York-based Eon is a cloud backup posture management platform that provides instant access to all backed-up cloud data. Founded by Gonen Stein, Ofir Ehrlich, and Ron Kimchi in 2024, Eon has now raised a total of $497.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Affinity Partners, Bond, Gil Capital, Greenoaks, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Omri Casspi, Sequoia Capital, Swish Ventures, and Vine Ventures.

Artera – $65.0M

Santa Barbara-based Artera is a SaaS leader transforming patient experience with AI-powered virtual agents (voice and text) Founded by Guillaume De Zwirek and Joe Tischler in 2015, Artera has now raised a total of $110.1M in total equity funding and is backed by Health Velocity Capital, Heritage Medical Systems, Jackson Square Ventures, Lead Edge Capital, and Summation Health Ventures.

Founded by Ivan Chalov, Mark Swan, and Philipp Burda in 2024, Nevis has now raised a total of $40.0M in total equity funding and is backed by ICONIQ Capital, Ribbit Capital, and Sequoia Capital.

Lemurian Labs – $28.0M

Santa Clara-based Lemurian Labsoffers a hardware-agnostic AI platform enabling unified development and scalable deployment across diverse environments. Founded by Jay Dawani and Vassil Dimitrov in 2018, Lemurian Labs has now raised a total of $37.1M in total equity funding and is backed by 1Flourish Capital, Animal Capital, Blackhorn Ventures, Hexagon, Origin Ventures, Oval Park Capital, Pebblebed, Planetary Impact Ventures, Silicon Catalyst Ventures, Stepchange Ventures, Uncorrelated Ventures, and Untapped Ventures.

Antares – $71.0M

Redondo Beach-based Antares Industries is an advanced nuclear energy startup that designs and manufactures adaptable and scalable reactors. Founded by Jordan Bramble and Julia DeWahl in 2023, Antares has now raised a total of $101.0M in total equity funding and is backed by 53 Stations, Alt Capital, Caffeinated Capital, Industrious Ventures, and Shine Capital.

Ostium – $20.0M

New York-based Ostium delivers a decentralized trading platform that enables leveraged trading of real-world assets. Founded by Kaledora Linn and Marco Ribiero in 2022, Ostium has now raised a total of $23.5M in total equity funding and is backed by Balaji Srinivasan, Coinbase Ventures, Crucible Capital, General Catalyst, GSR, Jump Crypto, LocalGlobe, Nick van Eck, Shiliang Tang, Susquehanna International Group, and Wintermute Ventures.

7AI – $130.0M

Boston-based 7AI provides an AI-driven cybersecurity platform that utilizes AI agents to manage the full lifecycle of security operations. Founded by Lior Div and Yonatan Amit in 2024, 7AI has now raised a total of $202.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Blackstone Innovations Investments, CRV, Greylock, Index Ventures, and Spark Capital.

Cambium – $94.4M

Mojave-based Cambium develops biomaterials for applications across defense, space, aerospace, and renewable energy. Founded by Simon Waddington and Stephan Herrera in 2019, Cambium has now raised a total of $121.4M in total equity funding and is backed by Gaingels.

Aether Bio – $15.0M

Menlo Park-based Aether Bio is a developer of machine learning technology used to re-purpose enzymes in order to create a new compound. Founded by Pavle Jeremic in 2017, Aether Bio has now raised a total of $64.4M in total equity funding and is backed by 4DX Ventures, Henkel, Natural Capital, Radicle Impact, Resilience Reserve, Shrug Capital, Tribe Capital, and Unless.

Antithesis – $105.0M

Vienna-based Antithesis is a simulation testing company that tests software reliability to find and reproduce software bugs before deployment. Founded by Will Wilson in 2018, Antithesis has now raised a total of $182.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Amplify Partners, Dwarkesh Patel, First In Ventures, Hyperion Capital Partners, Jane Street Capital, Patrick Collison, Sholto Douglas, Spark Capital, Tamarack Global, and Teamworthy Ventures.

Curi Bio – $10.0M

Seattle-based Curi Bio integrates human stem cells, systems, and AI-enabled data analytics for the development of new therapeutics. Founded by Elliot Fisher in 2015, Curi Bio has now raised a total of $26.0M in total equity funding and is backed by DreamCIS.
