From January 11-13, Mintel participated in the three-day Cosme Week Tokyo 2023 Trade Show. Solid beauty trends are gaining traction in facial care as exemplified by Kate McLeod’s waterless Face Stone. It melts on contact with skin, and intensely nourishes with antioxidant-rich oils and butters.
Spectra Eye Color, UK
The Unseen Spectra Eye Color recognizes the growing importance of the Metaverse. The dual reality eye color transforms into a bright reflective shade under a phone camera’s flash.
Maternity Care Scalp Therapy Shampoo, South Korea
This product is a hypoallergenic anti-hairloss shampoo for pregnant women, and it also has scalp care claims such as moisturizing, exfoliating, etc. It features a coconut-derived cleansing ingredient and buckwheat extract to gently wash the weakened scalp of pregnant women.
Invigorating & Stimulating Shampoo, Singapore
These shampoos are enriched with bergamot essential oil to boost nutrients and oxygen to the hair, and enhanced with ginger and ginseng extracts to strengthen the hair bulb.
Reshi Repairing Oil Serum, China
A 30% biocompatible reshi oil, which is highly concentrated in triterpenoids, and said to inhibit NF-KB and AP-1 signals to stimulate skin cell renewal and protect skin from irritation.
