Jack Butcher, a renowned digital artist and crypto investor known in the non-fungible token space for his simple art and conceptual non-fungible token projects, particularly his viral non-fungible token collections, Checks and Opepen Edition, has announced plans to launch a new non-fungible token collection on Ethereum. The highly anticipated NFT collection is slated to land in the NFT market today.

Jack Butcher Drops A New NFT Collection

In a September 16 blog post, Jack Butcher confirmed plans to launch a new non-fungible token collection. Butcher has partnered with Art Block, a prominent platform for generative art, where artists encode algorithms that create unique digital artworks when a collector “mints” them on the Ethereum blockchain network. This much-anticipated NFT series is slated to start minting Today, September 17, 12:00 PM ET.

Jack Butcher is a well-known artist, designer, content creator, and entrepreneur, renowned in the NFT market for his approach to digital art and innovative NFT fundraising, which fuses creativity with social impact. To create his NFT collections, NFT artist Jack Butcher distills complex ideas and concepts into simple, visually striking graphics, a unique style he developed with his Visualize Value project.

Jack Butcher is the brainchild behind the Checks, a renowned non-fungible token collection featuring a fixed edition of 16,031 NFTs. This NFT project was created in response to Twitter’s decision to sell its verification blue checkmark for a monthly fee. The NFT collection gained significant traction and explored themes of cultural legitimacy, authority, and what it meant to be verified in the digital age.

The Opepen Edition is another NFT collection from Jack Butcher. This NFT collection came as an evolution of the Checks NFT project. The Opepen NFT collection, which features a limited edition of 16,000-piece open edition collection, drew inspiration from the Pepe the Frog meme. The collection’s artwork was revealed in “sets,” and holders could opt in to influence the eventual designs, turning the NFT project into a collaborative on-chain experiment. It has a floor price value of 0.15 ETH.

Jack Butcher’s Gas Wars NFT Overview

Jack Butcher is back with a new non-fungible token collection called ‘Gas Wars’ after more than one year of silence. This highly anticipated NFT collection will feature a fixed set of 499 pieces launched on the Ethereum blockchain. Gas Wars NFT collection will be launched in two phases. In the first phase, ‘Survive,’ Simulation Zero, traditionally reserved as an artist mint, will be sold publicly through a 24-hour zero-reserve auction. Any bid received in the final 5 minutes will extend the auction by 5 minutes.

In the second phase, ‘Simulate,’ the remaining 499 simulations are available for just 500 seconds only. Early simulations fire fewer bullets and face better survival odds than more expensive late scenarios. But expensive simulations reveal more information about destruction patterns. The gas wars NFT collection is a networked generative artwork inspired by the concept of Survivorship Bias, popularized during WW2 by statistician Abraham Wald.
