Omead Afshar, who was promoted last year to oversee Tesla’s (TSLA) sales and manufacturing operations in North America and Europe, and is one of CEO Elon Musk’s closest confidants, has left the company, Dana Hull and Ed Ludlow of Bloomberg report, citing people familiar with the matter. News of the exit has circulated internally among some employees in recent days, sources told Bloomberg.
