U.S. Bank ‘Bonus Days’ Offer Cardholders Extra Rewards, Discounts

U.S. Bank cardholders, save the dates: From Nov. 26 to Nov. 28, 2025, you can snag discounts or additional rewards with the issuer’s Bonus Days event. For the first time in this semi-annual event, debit cardholders can also partake in some of these incentives.

Here’s what it will offer.

Bonus Days savings options

Double cash back

As a debit or credit card holder, you can activate cash-back offers on the dashboard of your account online or in the app. These are merchant-specific retailers and categories that could be valuable if they align with your planned spending. For instance, if you have the U.S. Bank Shopper Cash Rewards® Visa Signature® Card, you could earn a base rate of 1.5% cash back and double it when you spend with eligible merchants.

This card also allows you to earn 6% cash back on your first $1,500 in combined eligible purchases each quarter at two retailers you choose, so you could potentially earn more if that retailer is eligible to earn double cash.

Double rewards

If you’re a business or consumer cardholder, you can earn double rewards through the Shopping Deals website at over 1,100 stores. To access rewards, log into your account online, or in the app to go to the rewards center and click on “Shopping Deals.” Terms and limitations may apply. For instance, you might not be allowed to earn additional rewards in specific categories, depending on the merchant.

10% off gift cards

When you use your U.S. bank debit or credit card to purchase gift cards through the Gift Card Shop, you can get 10% off with the promo code BONUSDAYS. You’re limited to one order per customer, meaning you can buy multiple gift cards under a single order only. Savings can go even further if you use the gift card to pay for a heavily discounted Black Friday purchase.

Discounts on merchandise

As a credit card holder, you’ll also receive discounts on items within the Rewards Center by logging into your account online or in the app and clicking on “Bonus Days Deals” under “Merchandise.”

If you start mapping out a strategy now for planned purchases, you can potentially save by stacking some of these opportunities with Black Friday discounts. Keep in mind, though, that these offers might not be a good fit for everyone. If you plan to use a U.S. Bank credit card to pay for a purchase and carry the balance over time, the high interest charges will far outweigh any savings or rewards earned.
