NerdWallet rating

NerdWallet’s ratings are determined by our editorial team. The scoring formula incorporates coverage options, customer experience, customizability, cost and more.

Through Aug. 28, 2025, new cardholders are eligible for the following: Earn 2 Free Nights after you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. Plus, earn 25,000 Bonus Points after you spend $12,000 on purchases in the first 6 months from account opening.

Each free night can be used for one night in any standard room at a Category 1-4 World of Hyatt hotel or resort. A standard room at a Category 1 hotel costs around 5,000 points, while a standard room at a Category 4 property costs around 15,000 points — depending on how busy it is when you book. And since NerdWallet values Hyatt points at 2.2 cents each, the bonus points you can earn through the second half of the offer are worth around $550.

Note that free night awards earned from the welcome bonus cannot be used at any non-Category 1-4 World of Hyatt properties, nor can they be used at Miraval, Hyatt Zilara or Hyatt Ziva resorts. In addition, cardholders must use their free night awards within 12 months of earning them.

Previously, the card offered new holders up to 60,000 bonus points: 30,000 after spending $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening and up to 30,000 more by earning 2 bonus points per $1 spent in the first 6 months from account opening.

The $95-annual fee World of Hyatt Credit Card earns the following ongoing rewards:

4 bonus points per $1 spent with your card at Hyatt hotels, including participating restaurants and spas. Properties under the Hyatt umbrella include the Park Hyatt, Miraval, Andaz and Hyatt Place.

2 points per $1 spent on dining at restaurants, airline tickets purchased through the airline, fitness club and gym memberships, and local transit and commuting.

1 point per $1 spent on all other purchases.
