In 2004, I sat on our thrifted couch, six months pregnant, staring at the glowing computer screen.
I had no degree. No real experience.No impressive resume. No idea what I was doing.
But I did know one thing: I had to figure out a way to earn income from home.
We were on a beans-and-rice budget while my husband, Jesse, was in law school, and I was determined to be home with our baby on the way. I couldn’t afford to waste time or money chasing scams or dead-end ideas.
So I got creative. I used what I did have: a laptop, an internet connection, a burning desire, a whole lot of grit, and lots of time!
