Utrecht-based Whoppah, a marketplace for secondhand furniture and art, announced on Wednesday that it has raised €4.7M in a fresh round of funding.
The Dutch company says it will use the funds to achieve profitability next year. The startup also plans to raise a larger round.
“Despite low season challenges and economic uncertainty marked by inflation and contraction, Whoppah has not only persevered but thrived, setting revenue record after record and securing substantial support from our investors,” says Thomas Bunnik, Co-founder & CEO of Whoppah.
