It may be June, but Spirit Halloween is already gearing up for the upcoming spooky season.

This year, Spirit Halloween is looking to hire 52,000 seasonal associates and managers for a record-breaking 1,575 stores across the United States and Canada, Spirit Halloween director of PR Lori Tesoro told USA TODAY. Applications for seasonal sales associates, assistant managers, regional managers, zone managers and store managers are open at work4spirit.com.

The company, known for its Halloween costumes and decor, offers “highly competitive pay,” retention bonuses and a 30% employee discount on costumes, accessories, animatronics and decor, according to a news release.

Spirit Halloween plans to open the most stores in company history this year, with a record-setting 1,575 stores compared to 1,546 stores in 2025 and 1,535 stores in 2024, Tesoro said.

Applications opened just a week after Spirit Halloween launched its Summerween Terrifier collection. Though most of the collection is already sold out as of June 11, it included an Art the Clown ice cream cone-shaped pool inflatable, a “Terrifier” beach towel and various accessories, such as a tote bag and bucket hat.
