The Weekly Notable Startup Funding Report takes us on a trip across various ecosystems in the US, highlighting some of the notable funding activity in the various markets that we track. The notable startup funding rounds for the week ending 3/15/25 featuring funding details for Cartesia, Mesh, Indigo, and fifteen other deals representing $1.26B in new funding that you need to know about.

Cybereason – $120.0M

La Jolla-based Cybereason is a cybersecurity company that offers a comprehensive platform for endpoint protection, detection, and response. Founded by Lior Div, Yonatan Amit, and Yossi Naar in 2012, Cybereason has now raised a total of $933.6M in total equity funding and is backed by Liberty Strategic Capital, SoftBank, and SoftBank Vision Fund.

Capture6 – $27.5M

Berkeley-based Capture6 is a direct air capture start-up leveraging its technology to support climate resilience and industrial decarbonization. Founded by Ethan Cohen-Cole and Luke Shors in 2021, Capture6 has now raised a total of $33.8M in total equity funding and is backed by Bridge Investment Group, Elemental Impact, Energy Capital Ventures, Jacobs Foundation, Sopoong Ventures, Tetrad Corporation, Third Derivative, and ZER01NE.

Celestial AI – $250.0M

Santa Clara-based Celestial AI develops an optical interconnect technology platform for data center and AI computing solutions. Founded by David Lazovsky, Michelle Tomasko, and Preet Virk in 2020, Celestial AI has now raised a total of $588.9M in total equity funding and is backed by AMD Ventures, BlackRock, Engine Ventures, Fidelity, Koch Disruptive Technologies, Lip-Bu Tan, Maverick Silicon, Porsche Automobil Holding, Temasek Holdings, Tiger Global Management, and Xora Innovation.

Indigo – $1.5M

Boston-based Indigo is an agricultural technology company that focuses on improving sustainability and profitability in farming practices. Founded by David Berry, Geoffrey von Maltzahn, Ignacio Martinez, and Noubar Afeyan in 2014, Indigo has now raised a total of $1.4B in total equity funding and is backed by Google.

Worth AI – $20.0M

Orlando-based Worth AI provides an AI-powered platform for business credit scoring, risk management, and financial underwriting with real-time insights. Founded by Sal Rehmetullah and Suneera Madhani in 2023, Worth AI has now raised a total of $34.6M in total equity funding and is backed by DeepWork Capital, Florida Funders, Florida Opportunity Fund, Ingeborg Investments, and TTV Capital.

Lumafield – $75.0M

Cambridge-based Lumafield develops industrial computed tomography (CT) solutions for non-destructive testing and inspection for engineers. Founded by Andreas Bastian, Eduardo Torrealba, Kevin Cedrone, Ric Fulop, Ricardo Bazzarella, and Scott Johnston in 2019, Lumafield has now raised a total of $142.5M in total equity funding and is backed by DCVC, G2 Venture Partners, IVP, Kleiner Perkins, Lux Capital, Matter Venture Partners, Spark Capital, and Wellington Management.

San Francisco-based Mesh is a crypto payments network that creates a connected, secure crypto ecosystem with various integrations for businesses and users. Founded by Adam Israel and Bam Azizi in 2020, Mesh has now raised a total of $120.0M in total equity funding and is backed by AltaIR Capital, ConsenSys, Evolution VC, Hike Ventures, Opportuna, Paradigm, QuantumLight, and Yolo Investments.

Motivity – $27.0M

Seattle-based Motivity provides clinical software solutions through insights, data mining and collection for the ABA and behavioral health industries. Founded by Catalin Bocirnea and Rex Jakobovits in 2013, Motivity has now raised a total of $27.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Five Elms Capital.

Nirvana Insurance – $80.0M

San Francisco-based Nirvana Insurance is an AI-driven commercial trucking insurer that utilizes telematics data to enhance safety and reduce fleet costs. Founded by Abhay Mitra, Alex Carges, and Rushil Goel in 2021, Nirvana Insurance has now raised a total of $162.2M in total equity funding and is backed by General Catalyst, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Valor Equity Partners.

Norm AI – $48.0M

New York-based Norm AI is a regulatory AI agent company that automates legal and compliance tasks. Founded by John Nay in 2023, Norm AI has now raised a total of $86.1M in total equity funding and is backed by Bain Capital, Blackstone Innovations Investments, Citi Ventures, Coatue, Craft Ventures, Marc Benioff, New York Life Ventures, TIAA, and Vanguard.

Pickle – $12.0M

New York-based Pickle is a peer-to-peer clothing rental marketplace that allows users to rent trendy outfits from their local community. Founded by Brian McMahon and Julia O’Mara in 2021, Pickle has now raised a total of $20.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Burst Capital, Craft Ventures, FirstMark, and FJ Labs.

Synctera – $15.0M

San Francisco-based Synctera is a banking technology platform that enables community banks and fintech companies to collaborate and provide financial services. Founded by Dominik Weisserth, Kris Hansen, and Peter Hazlehurst in 2020, Synctera has now raised a total of $94.0M in total equity funding and is backed by 1st & Main Growth Partners, Diagram Ventures, Evolution Ventures, Fin Capital, Trajectory Ventures, and True Equity.

Cartesia – $64.0M

San Francisco-based Cartesia provides real-time multimodal intelligence for all devices. Founded by Albert Gu, Arjun Desai, Brandon Yang, and Karan Goel in 2023, Cartesia has now raised a total of $86.0M in total equity funding and is backed by A* Capital, Greycroft, Index Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, and Lightspeed Venture Partners.

Dexterity – $95.0M

Redwood City-based Dexterity provides AI-powered robotic solutions for logistics, warehouses, and supply chains. Founded by Samir Menon in 2017, Dexterity has now raised a total of $291.2M in total equity funding and is backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Sumitomo.

Flock Safety – $275.0M

Atlanta-based Flock Safety provides end-to-end surveillance solutions to support law enforcement and communities. Founded by Garrett Langley and Matt Feury in 2017, Flock Safety has now raised a total of $655.6M in total equity funding and is backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Bedrock, Founders Fund, Greenoaks, Kleiner Perkins, Matrix, Meritech Capital Partners, Sands Capital Ventures, Tiger Global Management, and Y Combinator.

Equilibrium Energy – $28.0M

San Francisco-based Equilibrium Energy is a Climate Generation power company focused on the creation and proliferation of clean energy. Founded by Ryan Hanley in 2021, Equilibrium Energy has now raised a total of $100.0M in total equity funding and is backed by GS Energy and NRG Energy.

LiquidTrust – $4.0M

Los Angeles-based LiquidTrust offers global payment solutions tailored to the needs of SMBs. Founded by Saujin Yi in 2019, LiquidTrust has now raised a total of $4.0M in total equity funding and is backed by Anthemis, Motivate Venture Capital, and Resolute Ventures.

Sayso – $40.0M

San Francisco-based Sayso is a communication accessibility platform that improves speech intelligibility for humans and machines alike. Founded by Bryce Irvine and Ganna Tymko in 2020, Sayso has now raised a total of $40.0M in total equity funding and is backed by UP Partners.
