Protect Medicaid—Tell Your Senators to Reject Harmful Cuts!
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on LInkedIn

Republicans in the House of Representatives recently pushed through a bill that would implement devastating cuts to Medicaid. Now, Senate Republicans have followed the House’s lead, advancing a reckless budget blueprint that would slash Medicaid, Medicare, the Affordable Care Act (ACA), and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) to pay for tax breaks that overwhelmingly benefit high-income earners.

We Must Take Action Now!

If passed, this dangerous proposal would take health coverage and food assistance away from millions of Americans, including older adults, people with disabilities, caregivers, children, and working families. It would make even deeper cuts to Medicaid than the House bill, which already represented the largest reduction in the program’s history.

The consequences would be devastating: more preventable deaths, shuttered hospitals and health clinics, more dangerous nursing homes, and rising health care costs for everyone. Low-income Medicare enrollees who also rely on Medicaid to afford their coverage and medications would be among the hardest hit.

As the budget process moves forward, now is the time to make your voice heard. Tell your lawmakers to protect Medicaid, Medicare, and everyone who relies on the programs.

Join us. Raise your voice. Defend Medicaid.
