Foodiq: Transforming food production
Led by Robert Savikko, Foodiq provides Multi-Layer Cooker (MLC) technology for food producers.
The Multi-Layer Cooker (MLC) aims to transform food production by replacing multiple machines with a single automated unit.
Unlike traditional methods, where products move through separate processes, the MLC handles mixing, pasteurising, and emulsifying all at once, making production faster and more efficient.
Additionally, MLC offers great flexibility, allowing easy adjustments for different recipes and quick transitions between products.
The company says that this technology can work with various raw materials, including dairy proteins and plant-based alternatives.
The MLC can be used to manufacture a wide range of dairy-based products such as yogurts, puddings, quarks, spreads, smoothies, and flavored drinks. The raw material can be cow’s milk, camel milk, or any other dairy-based ingredient.
According to the company’s claims, the MLC technology is applicable to multiple industries, e.g., processing fish leftovers into fish food using removable and self-sustainable containers.
