Initially started by Small Business Minister Rechie Valdez and Employment and Workforce Development Minister Randy Boissonnault, the initiative seeks to break down barriers faced by the 2SLGBTQI+ community in entrepreneurship. Among the beneficiaries of the concerned funding are several Alberta-based institutions including the Fyrefly Institute for Gender and Sexual Diversity and the Alberta 2SLGBTQIA+ Chamber of Commerce.
