REX American Resources Corp. (NYSE: REX) reported its first quarter results, highlighting strong strategic execution that led to the nineteenth consecutive quarter of positive earnings despite a challenging macroeconomic environment.
Long-term earnings potential should be boosted further by positive developments in the corn industry and good progress on two self-funded investment initiatives. Besides putting the cash to work on deals, management continued to return money to shareholders through repurchases, demonstrating confidence in the firm’s long-term profitability outlook and belief that shares are trading below the company’s intrinsic value.
